The hotel us not bad but it is not good. If I had a choice I would stay else where. The place is old and shows it. The beds are rocks. The rooms are small and crowded. The bathrooms the same. The gym is ok. The breakfast buffet is OK as well. But steamed bacon. Really come on that's horrible. The rooms all share the same climate control. So if the management thinks it will be cold. Then the heater is on through the whole hotel. Including the room your in. Even if you don't think it is cold. The same way with the air con. The area is noisy. Some times the boats will sound there horns. China town is at the base of the hotel. Dinner at the hotel is outrageous prices.

As you know, Paradise hotel chain is very luxury and famous hotel in Korea. Almost everybody knows Paradise Hotel in Busan Korea. Paradise hotel Incheon has same name, but I'm afraid you guess same luxury and same service. Actually this hotel located in harbor side of Incheon, so there are no business buildings or busy citizens. The only things you can find are tiny houses and shops - very old ones and dark street.

Cross the road, you can find China town. The name is China town, but what I found are Chinese restaurants and street vendors. Every shop said they are most famous and delicius but I don't know which one is true.

For the room, clean and comport but I'm not sure this is 5star Hotel. In the room, there is a internet router so you can use internet faster than wifi. Good quality shampoo and body shower and slippers. Just 2 bottles of water in the cooler.

I heard, this hotel is the only one 5star hotel in Incheon - except Inceon Airport area. So if you must stay in real Incheon there in no choice. Don't worry, this is good hotel but I think this is not real 5 star.

+ GOOD LOCATION
variety of restaurants and Chinatown located within a 5-10 minute walk

- DIRTY ROOMS
the bathroom was very dirty. Hair in and around the sink. Shower curtain dirty and smelled terrible. Mildew!

- VERY NOISY
hotel maids scream at each other in the hallways.

- LOTS OF ANNOYING CHINESE TOURISTS
the hotel was full of annoying Chinese tourists who scream in the hallways late at night and at 5am. they treat the hotel like a barnyard

- THE GYM IS NOT FREE
the hotel charges guests to use the gym. (i refused to pay)

I will not stay here again.

i was really skeptical about the condition of this hotel but it turned out alright for a small city old hotel. i would rate it a 3-star hotel.

1st day, i stayed room 201 with 1 queen bed. it faces the car park & a bit of "sea-port-crane" view. yes, room was refurbished & clean. although sound proofing was bad but still it was alright. only when there's people walking past or when the housekeeping is cleaning the rooms then you will hear the sounds at the door. i liked it that it's wood flooring as my little one likes to roll around the floor so i get really paranoid if its carpeted.

2nd day, i stayed room 331 with 2 double beds. the window has no view, its faces part of the back of the hotel & piles of birds dung on the window ledge & railings. the room looked rather seasoned despite that it has the same refurbished decor as the 1st room i stayed. also it said non-smoking but the stale smell of cigarettes lingers even after i sprayed lots of air refresher. this room is carpeted so it doesn't help much.

in-room facilities wise, strong internet connection that i could tango (not sure about skype). good t.v set with lots of local t.v programs. hair dryer towels etc all are reasonable. the only item is the kettle. i refused to touch it, let alone using it to boil water for my kid's milk!

service wise, i think it's probably the culture of the people. having been to Korea many times so i am used to it. the staffs are polite in general although particularly 1 was really cold & demeaning. others are all helpful.

the hotel is located on a small hill & there is no staircase or sidewalk leading down to the streets so i have to actually walk on the driveway to get to street level. Chinatown is right across the road & the train station is like 3 minutes walk. note no taxis wait outside the hotel so the hotel staffs will have to get it but it was quick because this city has lots & lots of taxis around.

Room Tip: i noticed they have traditional ondol rooms which is nice cuz (again) i'm a little particular with old hotel carpeting.
