Visited this hotel while visiting my son in Ulsan and was very impressed. The room was much nicer than I expected given previous reviews, the staff could not be more helpful and the breakfast good.
We visited Busan by local train, approx £7.00 return for the two of us, and had a lovely day. Catch the train to Haeundae and walk along the beach and the walkway around the headland.
Also visited Gyeongju to see the temple. Again we caught the local train and then a taxi to the temple itself. It really was a beautiful setting.
Tried the Korean barbecues while here. I am a fussy eater, don't like spicy food but thoroughly enjoyed them.
Enjoy Ulsan, we did!

Average quality hotel. Stayed one night also in a suite: nothing special. Noisy refrigerator without any possibility of turning it out.
After 9:30 the only possibility of having food is the room service. No bar service.
The lobby looks like a desert: there is not a place to sit down and sip a drink or a coffee.
The self service restaurant serves oriental and western food but after three meals you know the list by hart.

Hotel is clean and safe. Good location with malls, restaurants and pubs close by. The cleaning staff was very respectfully and did a great job.
No valet parking on the first level where you drive in and no sign to tell you that there is valet parking in the basement. The hotel parking is connected to the mall and one must compete with the mall parking to find a space. That takes up alot of time especially when driving daily for business.
The rooms are warm during the winter. One can physically push the button on the a/c and heat unit but it still does not change the temperature. No windows open and the down comforters make it uncomfortable during the night.
There is no wireless in the rooms but is in the lobby. The beautiful lobby has only 1 couch for 3 people to sit. So unless your lucky and find a seat you must stand around the lobby with lots of other people to wirelessly connect to the internet.
I would still recommend this hotel in Ulsan since it seems to be the best game in town and has a good location. Just be aware of the little things and your stay will be fine. I do enjoy staying at the Lotte Hotel in Busan.

The hotel was good for the business that I was part of. Location allowed access to many local and international restaurants. All open late. Great bars also allowing a beer or six after a big day.

Great Cinese resturant down the side street a block or so. Highly recommend you try the food here.

Take the side street down the side of Paris Baggette opposite the hotel. This area is full of night life and worth sitting on a bench and watching the various nightclub reps touting for business.

The hotel could do with room WiFi, and complimentary access based on the premium price paid to stay.
