We have been wandering about Thailand for a month now, and have stayed in numerous guest houses, and this is easily our favorite.

This place is quiet, which is rare for a guest house in Thailand. Seems to have a bit older crowd than most, not your usual backpacker crowd (I love those guys, but they are noisy!)

Rooms were new and clean, pool was good. Locations is convenient and the staff is great. Food in the restaurant is better than usual as well.

Highly recommend.

Lovely setting had a nice pool, clean room, comfortable bed, we both slept well, has ac, a fridge and access to hot water and a microwave in reception. All staff were wonderful.
Downside poor water pressure in the shower and some noisy guests but other than that a very nice place to stay and explore.

Hi folks. It’s Jono from the Lifestyle Strategist. You know drill. You get what you pay for. It was just passable for 2 nights. What let it down was the bathroom. You had to shower & almost stand on top of the toilet to do so. Crazy design. I’m a photographer & wanted to do some photos on my laptop. But the room had no chair. No desk. Nothing to put my laptop on. Had one English tv station. The door to the balcony could not be locked so had to cart all our stuff down to the car whilst we were out each time. Room was noisy as every time someone turned on a tap you could here the hammering in the pipes. Glad we’re out.

We are a family of 3 with a 12 year old and we chose Ben Guest House because of the swimming pool, good price, lovely architecture and decent reviews. We stayed in the newer wing, and with 2 beds shoved in there, space was cramped, but not a big deal. A balcony allowed for drying our swim suits and towels. Room cleaned daily. We did not care for the food on site (NativeThai husband could tell food was modified for tourists) but it's nice for coffee first thing in the morning. I booked a tour through the office - the river boat ride and elephant trek. Fun and highly recommended!
I would go again, even though it's a bit out of the way.

Stayed here for 3 nights and it was great! There is a newer building that we stayed in and it was the same price as the older dark buildings. Private room with bathroom was 600 THB- no breakfast but there was a restaurant on the property with a lot of options for a decent price.
The room was very nice, clean and we always got clean towels, new bath products and water bottles.
The pool area was also very clean (if you ignore the shower area) and we enjoyed it very much.
Definitely recommend staying here even though it's a little outside of the downtown (still only 25min by foot).
