As a backpacker travel, this hotel is luxury. The room are big and spacious. Nice and clean and situated near bus station. Very quiet and calm in the morning. Buffet break first has varieties of food.
A life pianist musician will entertain you if you choose to stay indoor.
Staff’s are helpful and polite and will stay again if in Chiang Rai again.

We look for great locations with essential services at a reasonable price when we travel. The Wiang Inn meets all these criteria. Our room was quite comfortable with more than adequate bathroom facilities, good WIFI and a closet safe. The room was quiet. The breakfast was fabulous with an array of western and Asian foods. They offered different spicy salads each day. All were good. The location cannot be beat. Your turn the corner onto the main street and you have an array of restaurants and shops at your disposal. We needed pharmacy service and there was an English-speaking pharmacist just up the street. We would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Go to breakfast early to avoid the crowds. Many tour bus groups stay here and they tend to descend on the breakfast buffet en masse.

It was the weekend of Chinese New Year and I had only one night booked at this hotel. When I learned I had to stay another night, all the hotel booking sites said no available rooms in town, including this hotel. But the exceptional front desk staff found me a room, so I didn’t have to move. And they really made me feel like a valued customer to boot.

Very comfortable rooms and bed, breakfast was fine but not great, and nice central location. Wouldn’t hesitate to return

It is a bit of a older hotel, could do with a renovation, breakfast was good but not great, all was functional, nice swimming pool. Employees where friendly and efficient, lobby and lobby bar was nice.

I have stayed in this hotel for 2 nights, have eaten their breakfast buffet a few times, and ate their lunch buffet once.

All excellent experiences. Comfortable rooms. Variety of English and thai channels. Breakfast buffet was excellent- bacon, different kinds of eggs, french toast, pancakes, chocolate chip muffins, lots of good asian food too.

Lunch buffet was great too- lots of variety.

They are always friendly and helpful here. Lunch is 200 baht per person and breakfast was 235 baht per person if you pay separate. Location is great and great parking too!
