“GORGEOUS VILLA RIGHT ON TA DREAMY BEACH: TRANQUIL LUXURY PURE!”
Reviewed July 7, 2017 for a stay in June 2017

My husband and I spent our wedding anniversary at this gorgeous luxury villa. Granted, we didn't need a 15000 sq ft 5 bedroom villa just for the two of us. Hold on - we DID, because we decided to move from bedroom to bedroom to try them all out. We actually slept in all of the bedrooms and it was dreamy. Every bed room is spacious and beautifully designed. Each bedroom is connected to a large luxurious bathroom and has either a terrace or patio, most of which have ocean view. The home has an open floor plan with sliding doors everywhere, allowing the wonderful beach and the beautifully landscaped surrounding exotic landscape in. This inside / outside living creates a feeling of pure tranquil luxury. The fact that the villa had two guest villas detached from the main house made it feel like we were in a different villa every night. If one would travel with friends or family this would allow some privacy between the various villas. The villa also has a detached massage villa, has two massage beds. Your own massage spa at home. We used it daily, having a massage therapist come over every morning after breakfast. The home comes with a staff (cooking and cleaning and reading your wish every minute). They are a lovely warm and sweet couple: Phui and Aye. Aye drove us around, wherever we wanted to go and his wife Phui cooked us delicious meals and made a dreamy breakfast for us every day. The house is super clean and well equipped with everything one needs and more. The various wooden pathways and patios allow for morning meditation or yoga. Its the ideal home to unwind and relax. The large warp around pool allowed my husband to have morning swims comparable to about 40 laps in a regular size pool. Additionally there is an infinity pool facing the beach / the ocean. That was my favorite spot. Waling along the white sandy beach you reach two cute beach restaurants serving very good authentic thai food, very inexpensive. Just minutes away is the town of Hua Hin - a fishing village turned vacation town. Its fun to visit Cicada market with all the local food stands and local arts and crafts. My husband and i didnt want to leave the dream house and we made a promisse to come back latest for our next anniversary, but probably before that. This luxury beach home is worth a 30 plus hour flight from Los Angeles.

“A great villa in a private neighborhood.”

We were a family of 7 adults and 2 babies. We usually make our annual family trip to Hua Hin. This time, we decided to try Villa Nilaya due to its many good reviews.
We called the owner from the advertised mobile number and asked her many questions about the villa. Surprisingly, the owner was very calm and patient and gave us all the answers to our queries.
We politely asked whether we could rent the villa for just 2 nights since we are locals from Bangkok. Luckily, she agreed since our booking was done at least 2 months in advance.
The villa provided 2 full-time housekeepers to assist us with all our needs.
The villa had 5 rooms. There were 3 rooms in the main building, while the other 2 rooms are in a connected building.
Although the swimming pools are shared with other villas, there were no problems since the pools are big.
We would definitely come back next year. Highly recommend for privacy.

“The most perfect house for a relaxing holiday”
Reviewed August 3, 2015 for a stay in July 2015

We rented this villa for 10 days and really loved spending our holiday here. the main house is very nice with lovely bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms. And what a joy to wake up to breakfast ready at nine with the staff ready to cook us eggs and bacon at our desire. After breakfast we went to the beach sala and spent hours on the deck in front of the sala, swimming, reading and sunbathing. The staff who live in a room just outside the kitchen speak thai, and not any other language. All important communication is done through Bee the house manager. We used messenger to text her, and she replied within minutes. We had massages several times at the spa sala, organized by Bee and at a very good price. The staff made dinners at our request and we had thai food and enjoyed the food a lot. Most evenings we had food made by the staff, but some evenings we went to the 'beach restaurant " next to the property and enjoyed the food there as well. The rooftop terrace is the best terrace I have ever seen, such a vast terrace with a large dining table and lots of comfortable relaxing furniture. Even though the house is part of a resort we felt quite a lot of privacy and not too disturbed by others. We used the facilities of the resort and played tennis, table tennis and used the gym. The beach outside the house is really deserted, not a lot of people and nice for long strolls on the beach.

“Made our wedding party beautiful and memorable!”
Reviewed March 24, 2015 for a stay in March 2015

After having stayed at this resort before on a beautiful mini vacation, we decided it would also be an ideal place to hold our wedding party of about 100 people.

With the main house, two salas, a big common area and a large, beautiful rooftop (we must have had over 60 people up there at one point) that overlooks the beach and ocean...the Villa comfortably fit our 100 person celebration.

Each time, Pui and the staff has been kind, welcoming and incredibly helpful. Their cooking is delicious and they keep the place impeccably clean. After the late night party, I woke up early to start cleaning up a bit...only to find they had already cleaned the whole villa! It looked like we had just arrived.

The beds are soft and the rooms are dark, which we also love! Combined with the sound of waves, it is impossible not to have a good nights rest.

This villa really is an ideal place for a large celebration such as our wedding party OR a private getaway; as our first trip here was.

I usually don't bother writing too many reviews on the Internet...but I whole heartedly recommend this place and want to share the news to othersl. We plan on coming back soon for some work related functions.

Enjoy!

“Beautiful place, but not really a private villa”
Reviewed May 5, 2014 for a stay in May 2014

We had a lovely stay, but the rooms are part of a larger complex. The grounds and pool are shared with a large complex and it's not totally clear on the website. It's not a private villa. If you have rented villas in other parts of Asia and expect the amenities that usually come with a villa then don't rent this place. The 2 people that worked at the complex only spoke Thai and communication was hard. They were very pleasant and kept the place clean for us. They were never in our way, but tended to the house needs well. The only service that was provided was breakfast, which was basic but good.
If you're looking for nice rooms in a pretty setting, then this place is good, but I wouldn't call it a private villa as that implies a bit of luxury (usually a private cook, driver, etc). The staff did call for a masseuse and taxis when we needed it, but not without a bit of confusion. All in all it was nice, but not fantastic. The only other thing that was weird was that the 2 separate 'salas' didn't lock, which was awkward because as mentioned, the grounds weren't really private so people did wander into the space.

Liked best: The group space was beautiful, there was an excess of gather space for the number of bedrooms. We had lots of space to spread out and relax.
Liked least: It wasn't really private but part of a complex and the rooms didn't lock.

We always appreciate honest reviews to improve future guests enjoyment of Villa Nilaya, and have already addressed minor issues such as providing keys for the Salas, and installing Private Property signs.

We advertise the villa as part of a housing complex, which consists of villas, townhouses and condominiums. Villa Nilaya is the largest private villa in the complex, and the only one touching the beachfront. We are working on improving some of the privacy aspects of the villa.

Our guest relations person is available to assist with any needs not able to be met by the staff on site, whose main role is to ensure cleanliness and provide breakfast.

We look forward to many more guests enjoying their stay
