3 incidents that made us never come back again -
1. We were staying at the ‘moonlight delux’ which was on the top floor, the shower water was slow and it was extremely hard to adjust to the right temperature. We had spa on the G/F on the 2nd day and found the shower was really nice there, so we talked to the reception and see if we could move to a lower floor, they send a cleaner (not even a technician) to check and saying there was nothing wrong with the shower and refused to move us to another room!
2. Twice we came back and found that they had made the bed, replenished the amenities but didn’t clean the floor at all both the bathroom and the room!
3. We had a night departure flight and was told that we could have a place for shower before we headed airport, but when we went back from outside, they said they didn’t provide hot shower but just cold one, we got really annoyed as we didn’t have proper shower for already 4 days, then we were finally bought to a room which someone had just checked out and not yet been cleaned!
Thailand is one of my favourites and I visit at least twice a year for the last 20 yers, this is the worst experience I ever had!

The aspects that created your dissatisfaction about cleaning procedure and service ingredient are already noticed by management and this has been shared with the team and steps have already been taken to minimize the repeat of such occurrences and for more customer awareness.

Great stay
We reached there and asked to see the better rooms to upgrade. They gave us a good price so we went for it and it was totally worth it.

Spacious rooms, big pool view balconies. Big bathroom and dressing room.

Lovely lobby, and close to the beach (3 min walk). Walking to the main streets of patong is 15 minutes and walking there you will find cafes and shops near by so you dont have to walk all the way.

Get the better rooms or upgrade there, we had a look at their cheaper rooms first and it was dull.

Stayed for 3 nights, booked 2 rooms through Agoda, one superior room and one one-bedroom unit. General service was good, premises clean and still looking new. There is a bar, gym, spa, work room and tourist desk. Breakfast area is adequately sized. Breakfast selection was good, food was tasty, no complaints. Hotel location is ok, not too far from beach or shopping. Most amenities within walking distance. Superior room is ok, view is towards back apartments. Has big patio. Room was clean and had enough room. Walls a bit dirty, needs some touch-up paint that will make it look a thousand times better. Deluxe room has view to swimming pool. Same size patio. Room well laid out, clean and looking deluxe. Same with bathroom. This is the room to get I suggest. One-bedroom unit has the added kitchenette, not worth the extra money over the deluxe. So based on my review so far, I would rate this hotel 5 stars. The unfortunate part is that I booked and paid upfront for a one-bedroom unit but the hotel gave us a deluxe room. As I said, there is a price difference. The hotel duty manager said its a mistake from Agoda or the agent. I had to contact Agoda or the agent to solve it. He did not want to hear my side, it was for me to sort out. I complained to the next shift duty manager the following day, same story - sort your complaint out with Agoda or the agent. According to this duty manager, this was a common issue with booking agents. So essentially, the hotel is happy to deal with booking agents and take your money, but if there is an issue, you better sort it out yourself. The hotel did offer the next day to us the one-bedroom unit, however we declined. They did then upgrade us from the superior room to a deluxe room. This was appreciated, however a bit late (missing out one night and of course the price difference). Nevertheless, if you can avoid a similar incident, I would say the hotel is worth considering.

I have stayed here many times, why, because its a great place and close to Bangla rd. The breakfast is very good, but what sets this hotel apart from the others is the staff. They are just great and always willing to go the extra mile. As a matter of fact staying here again in Sep for a few more days , just ask Hans.

Room Tip: All the rooms are great.

This my 6th time ive stayed at The Nap and once again i must say the the prople working there realy do a wonderful job in looking after it s guests everything about The Nap is wonderful however i think they could play some music around the pool area especially in the late afernoons.
Having said that the breakfast is supurb i would like to mention the following staff members for there amazing service and friendliness Run, Mam, Ming and Art job amazingly well done and looking forward to my next stay at The Nap.
