“Great location, lovely rooms - if you can get it!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 April 2012

I stayed at the Burasari for the second time with my husband, 10mth old baby and my mum and dad. We orginally booked a premier room and found them to be disgusting. Old, run down no balcony and no view (even though that is how they sell it) If you can get a room in the new section than you will love it, they are lovely. They will however make you make pay through the roof to get there. Staff are nice and accomodating mostly. The location is what is great about this place so close to everything but far enough from the hustle and bustle. I won't stay here again because I believe them to be misrepresenting their room classses. But if you have the money to book an elite thai or higher room than go for it as you won't be disapointed. The lack of pool lounges is a massive problem. We had to sit on the deck without a chair for the 9 days that we stayed here which wasn't nice with a 10mth old. Overall great location, nice staff, lovely rooms when you can get one, supurb restaurants (the food was excellent every time we ate at all restaurants and cafes in the Burasari, even room service).

Room Tip: Elite Thai or higher a must for your room. Anything on the left hand side of the property is terribl...

Can't really fault this hotel. We stayed in an elite pool elite access room, and it was fantastic. Would highly recommend those rooms.

Our group had 6 rooms in total, and everyone was happy. As our children had a sewerage issue in their room on a public holiday, this was dealt with efficiently whilst repairs were carried out (they were relocated to a honeymoon suite for a night - they did not have to move out - they just had 2 rooms for the night). Whilst the honeymoon suites were pleasant, they were not as good as the pool access rooms - in our opinion anyway.

Members of our group also had the Sangria Mood Collection room. This was a great room if the pool access is not of interest. It is a large room and also has a bar area overlooking the street which came in handy at Songkran and for other gatherings for our group where we needed a bit of space. Others in the group had the Elite rooms which were a good size and had a huge daybed on the balcony.

The breakfast was awesome. The staff were great. The location (IMO) is unbeatable between the beach and the OTOP markets, and only a 10 minute walk to Bangla.

Honestly could not understand the bad reviews for this hotel. But, when I now review them, and when I looked at the classic rooms in the older section when we were there (very small balconies) - well clearly they are older. No doubt a case of you get what you pay for, but all 6 of our rooms were fantastic, and we all wish we were still there......

Room Tip: The elite pool access. Perfect!!

This hotel and the comfort provided in the rooms is above most if not all other hotels in the patong area. It was very clean and provided a welcomed sense of western life after a day of bargaining with the locals. The deluxe room is very comfortable and includes free water.

Room Tip: Choose the more expensive deluxe rooms if you can afford it.

We went for our honeymoon in Feb 2010 to phuket and this hotel proved to be just perfect. we booked honeymoon package directly from the hotel's website and it was a very good package - a candlelight dinner, a session of foot spa, etc. The location of the hotel is gr8, staff very courteous, the rooms were spacious, clean and awesome, food was good. Definitely recommended.

My wife and I stayed 5 nights at the Burasari early April 2012. Had a Premier Grand room which faced the street. Double glazing ensured little noise. The room was large and very comfortable. Cleaned spotlessly every day. Breakfast included was very good, European and asian foods. Found tours very cheap at the first vendour out the door toward the beach. Pools were clean and refreshing. Would stay again.

Room Tip: Would go the pool access next time.

We stayed at this lovely hotel for almost two weeks. We really had a great time. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was fantastic, especially the banana bread! Closed to the beach and shopping. The room and the bathroom were very lovely, clean, specious, and well decorated with a balcony overlooking a big swimming pool. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely go back there again.

Had two nights here after 6 at Kamala beach. Was a fantastic place to end our stay in Phuket. Woulld highly recommend this resort.Next time if heading to Phuket would split my stay into 3 different locations.Surin or Kamala Patong and then rurawi at the bottom of Phuket. Three different experiences

Room Tip: We were on the 2nd floor with view over the pool. If going in high season I would choose a room with...
