We stayed at the end of January and the hotel was full at the time. The only criticism I could make was that due to the way the hotel is built, neither of the hotels swimming pools have plentiful sun beds. I would estimate that a total of about 24 sunbeds were
available. That said the beach is just 50 yards or so from the hotel, so not a major issue unless you insist on being by the pool!. A very good selection for breakfasts. We did not eat in the evenings at the hotel but were told the food was very good. Drinks were quite expensive unless you buy during happy hour.

Dear Bycroft,

Thank you for staying at Burasari. I am glad to read that you enjoyed your overall stay with us. However, I am really sorry that our pool facilities did not meet your expectations. I hope it won't affect your choice to stay with us again next time.

Tropical regards,
Lukas

We visited the Burasari Resort towards the end of March 2018, the hotel is amazing. We stayed in a premier room on the 3rd floor. Rooms and bathroom are modern, they are cleaned everyday and towels replaced daily. The hotel offers you a beach bag with towels which I found as a plus as you seldom forget to pack this. With that comes along a beach mat which is great if you don't want to pay 200 baht for a pool chair at the beach.
Staff are friendly and always willing to help.
The breakfast was great, there was a mix of English, Thai and a Veg section. It was my husbands birthday and the hotel did a mini cake and surprised him at breakfast.
The hotel location is great, out the hotel and left is the beach and out the hotel and turn right you have a variety of food options with a bit of shopping on the way.
The pool bar at the hotel was amazing, we had so much of fun with the bar men - who give great tips of where to go and what to do.
The only negative aspect for me was the room doors at the hotel. It seem you have to really push it closed and when you do this there is a loud noise, this could also only be on the 3rd floor however that wakes you up if your neighbor is out partying the night away. But other than that, there isnt a single fault with this hotel. Should really be a 5 star hotel.
The bonus was the complementary bar fridge in your room. We really enjoyed the beer, water and cokes.

Dear Shoneez,

Thanks so much for the great five star review! I am glad the team were able to look after you so well and have everything you needed stocked up and ready to go each day. Also, i totally agree with you, it is nice to be a bit removed from the hustle and bustle but still close enough to see everything you'd like to see around Patong.

Hope to see you again very soon at Burasari!

Best regards,
Lukas

I really enjoyed this hotel, it looked amazing and just a few steps away from the beach.
The staff was very friendly. The food was good, both the free breakfast and the restaurant. They also have a free minibar in every room, which was nice - few sodas, a beer, oreo and crisps. We had an Elite room which has a bed on the balcony, really nice! It has two pools, not a lot of benches though. And the spa is amazing!
Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel! The beach is very nice but the town itself is just a typical tourist beach town.

We stayed here 25-30 March 2018. The standard rooms are small with a balcony not big enough to sit on and views of the street or neighbouring buildings. We immediately upgraded to an elite room which is the equivalent of a standard room in most decent hotels. A balcony with small table two chairs and a day bed facing the pool was what we ended up with. No complaints about the room but it did take two days and 3 visits to reception to get cupboard doors which were falling off re-positioned and fixed.
The hotel provide nice toiletries and lemon oil to attempt to stop mosquitoes (of which there were many) and there is a mini fridge restocked daily which is free. (2 x water, coke and canned beer and 2 cans Fanta). BBCWorld news and Nat Geo available on large flat screen TV.
Breakfast is varied and well presented and we ate twice in the hotel for dinner which was both good value and tasty. Little touches like a small birthday cake make a small difference.
The main pool is clean, functional and shallow enough to stand in at 1.4m. There are 9 sun beds available at the main pool which soon disappeared by 8:30am.
The pool bar is much better with a recent playlist from the bar. Drinks prices are as you expect at a hotel although happy hour 2 for 1 cocktails from 2pm till 4pm daily makes this a popular area. Kwang is to be commended for his customer service skills. Although usually part of a double act with Pin, he managed the bar largely on his own without any delay in service. A nice atmosphere around the hotel and the staff are polite, efficient and cheerful.
My only small complaint is that on arrival we had an oil burner under the sink in the bathroom with insect repellent keeping the room clear. The refreshing of this at best was inconsistent and we had to ask at reception a few times for this the be relit and topped up.
In terms of location, this is great base; 50m to the beach and a 10 minute walk to Bangla Road which is a real eye opener to the uninitiated. Over the road from a large Holiday Inn Resort; Hooters bar at the top of the road which a useful landmark, close to lots of bars restaurants and shops. Massage parlours and Tattoo shops are also plentiful.
Patong is not a place to stay for a quiet few days, although the hotel provides welcome sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of a very busy beachside town.
All the usual Tours to Phi Phi, James Bond Island etc are available from the hotel. Outside the hotel, competition is fierce and you can strike yourself a great day out at a fraction of the advertised cost.
I would definitely stay here again

This is a very well maintained hotel with excellent staff. The free breakfast provided us exceptional with something for everyone - bacon, eggs, freah fruit, tea, coffee, Thai food. The room is on the smaller side but quite comfortable. The king bed was huge. The only downside in the room was the opaque window between the bathroom and the bedroom. It doesn't take much imagination to see everything that's happening in there so privacy isn't great if you aren't with your partner. The free minibar was stocked daily with soft drinks water and beer. The swimming pool is very good but there are limited dun loungers around which are not sufficient for the number of guests. However there are plenty of mosquitos around the pool so we didn't hang around and the beach is literally 2 minutes walk. Overall a great place and well located.
