Stayed 4 nights upon check in we were advised they had over booked and we went sent to the Mecure Patong Resort, didn't bother us too much as it was only for one night. When we returned we were upgraded from Elite Room to Honeymoon suite which was great and given restaurant vouchers for one nights dinner.
The hotel was clean, free mini bar great, wireless internet was Ok..
Location is great, we walked everywhere its not beach front but 2 minute walk you are on the beach.
Besides the bad weather we had, would definately stay again.

Me and my husband had gone to Thailand for our honeymoon earlier this year and its a funny story how we landed in Burasari in the first place. Our agent from India checked us into another resort by the name of Devana Patong where we had the worst experience of our lives, we were not given the deluxe room with jacuzzi as we had asked for an paid for, from India and more over the resort staff was very hostile towards us...we bore with them for 5 days and after we could take it no more we decided to check out....

Then we happened to be suggested Burasari resort by our agent back home and as soon as we pulled in with our luggage, my husband and I looked at each other and hugged so tight and knew that this was the place to be.... The staff was delightful and they gave us the top room, the mood room FREE OF ANY EXTRA COST whereas we had paid for a much lower room, this was because we had told them that we were on our honeymoon and we had already had a nasty experience at the start of our trip...

Just as we entered our room "Sweet Dream" there was a heart made with Orchids and two beautiful swans made with towels which made a heart with their necks...The service was awesome and the cafe run by Keith Floyd needs no introduction...the pool in the premises was lovely, covered by trees and there was absolute privacy and peace as one desired....

The resort is located very close to the beach so we would walk down to the beach, head to Bangla street and have fun in the evenings and were always met with smiling faces whenever we came back home, irrespective of the time....

When it was time to leave we wanted to thank the manager in person for instrumenting the success of our nearly disastrous honeymoon because of Devana Patong and making it the most beautiful holiday of our new found lives...but for some reason we could not meet with her...I hope some day she will read this and be happy that she and her staff are doing a damn good job of being hospitable to the people who visit the resort from far and wide...

We loved the place and talk of it fondly and would love to go back there whenever we plan to go back to Phuket and it is a must visit for all those who are looking for a lovely vacation and relaxation to the fullest :)

No problem with check-in, even though we had lost our travel vouchers and we got a free upgrade to the elite room with pool view. Greeted with juices which was nice. On coming to our room, we were amazed. Big king size bed, big bathroom and nice balcony with chair swings.
However, on our first night we realised the king size bed was 2 single beds pushed together. They were uneven in height which made us have very sore necks every morning. By day 3, the single beds were very warped in the middle. The taps leaked water when on, which was fixed very promptly but water still leaks onto the floor every time. Not good for falls. Water temperature was warm to hot to cold. Housekeeping was excellent. Free mini bar which was great.
Staff were very nice and greeted you each time. Breakfast was very much the same.
Would I stay in this hotel again. I said no. Too smelly which is most part of Patong anyway. It is a boutique hotel so doesn't have that resort feel which I would go for next time.

Stayed for 1 week with 2 young children. Stayed in a Premier Pool Access room. This room was basically what we expected. We had read previous reviews, though I think the different standards of accommodation Burasari offers makes it difficult to compare reviews. The pool access room was great, located in the older wing. there are a few mosquitos around so you cant really leave the sliding doors open. The room is not overly large and would not fit two cots though it would be fine for a couple. We had friends staying in a premier room which was located in the newer wing and we felt offered good value for money, though they did have a number of problems with the air conditioning which never seemed to be fixed properly. The staff were very friendly and breakfast was great, and the location was fantastic. I would stay here again but probably would not pay extra for pool access.

I really like the decor of the hotel lobby and the hotel in general, it gives a very rustic feeling, modern yet preserves the taste of Thai design. Room was very comfortable and the TV was the biggest I've seen in all the hotels i've been to before (not that it's important), and mini bar is free! there is a basket/bag with beach towels for you to bring the beach which makes things more convenient. Staff were very friendly and breakfast was good. Spa place was also very clean and private and offer a huge range of treatments. They should give in-house guests a discount though. Only thing is that I think there is only one lift on the entire floor so it was a long way from the lift to my room, usually we just take the stairs up and down. And my friends saw a rat running across somewhere on the ground floor. Other than that, this would still be one of my first choices when staying in Patong next time. Can consider getting a pool access room, looks luxurious and so convenient. There is also free wi-fi in rooms.
