We recently just returned from a 7 night stay in a 2 bedroom suite .
Size of the suite is fantastic as we had 4 adults & 2 kids .
First of all the beds are like laying on concrete - hardest bed we have ever slept on , barely slept . Asked for a topper of some sort and they folded another doona under meet the sheet , not much help .
2nd bathroom very much in need to be redone . Yellowed , stained and not up to standard bath & shower .
Floors had a quick broom over before we arrived , but stained , sticky , dirty nf clearly not mopped . I had to get on my hands and knees with towels to clean floors .
A big let down for this suite is that is has a full kitchen with no facilities to use
It . No plates , no cutlery ,cooling utensils ... Nothing . So unable to prep meals for kids after all .
Water at this hotel compared to others in Phuket is very very yellow in colour , not appealing .
The hotel itself is at the northern end only 5 min walk to hustle and bustle although lots of great shops , eaters downstairs and surrounding . Great position compared to other hotels smack centre in patong .
Pool is actually lovely , however staff are never servicing guests for drinks or food , 90% of time you have to find someone .
There is a little massage shop set up alongside pool which is great , girls r lovely and do a very good job .
Breakfast at the hotel is poor . Very in appealing , messy , poor quality . We ended up eating out at an awesome cafe downstairs for breakfast each day .
Kids play room - small but kept kids umused here and there .... Needs a good clean though .
There were 3-4 standout staff members , the rest Wernt overly friendly.
Hotel itself in need of a makeover , 3 star rating from us .

We requested a room with a blacony and got our first room on the 9th floor, which was old and in major need of a facelift. The bathroom basin was leaking, there was no hot water and the airconditioner compressor hadn't been hooked up, also the towells were grey and looked like floor rags. The TV was not the old type.

We requestested a better room and were told that we would have to pay for an upgrade. They repaired all the problems but the airconditioner, being so old, gave my wife Bronchitus. Only then after demanding to see the Manager did we get an upgrade at no extra charge.

The views were magnificant, but be aware of the Deluxe rooms, they are not Deluxe at all. If you want a nice room you will have to pay for the newly renovated Deluxe. I would not return to this hotel !!

Room Tip: Request a newly renovated Deluxe room !

Very nice hotel, expensive but ok. Nice rooms, sea view, very large and comfortable beds, only two lifts in such a big hotel are not enough. The room key must be left in the reception every time You go out so it can be quite uncomfortable. When we arrived they gave us wrong room Withouth balcony, we asked for balcony and they changed room in two hours. It is about 5minutes walking form the beach and about 10minutes walking from bangla, but it's ok because it is not noisy in the night and bangla is more expensive than streets close to hotel

Room Tip: sea view rooms have nicer view and they starts from 7th floor.

This was booked through Wotif.com as a last minute panicky "omg, we haven't booked anything for our last night!".
Great place to end in... Located perfect for shopping, night clubbing, eating, beaching yet situated well back off the main streets to give it a secluded feel from the hustle and bustle.
Gym, pool, bars, restaurant, ect easily accessible on the 3rd floor. Clean and Cherry Staff.
I especially LOVED the 'Welcome to Andaman Beach Resort board' with my name on it :)

I have stayed at this hotel 4 times this year for an average of 10 days each trip, of the four trips I had a partner with me for two trips. I cannot give the staff enough credit, they are very courteous and willing to help with anything you may ask of them.It makes you feel like home, because everyone is always smiling and also, ever so polite. The rooms are clean and the surrounds of the building are always very tidy. Breakfast and dining room meals are always presented well and are great value for money. The hotel runs CCTV system throughout the whole building so security wise it is very safe. Some of the hotels benefits are it being so close to the beach, and only a five minute walk to the Famous Bangla Road. I have stayed each time in the older part of the building which they have been doing up, so that I can enjoy the the spectacular views and sunsets. Personaly, I cannot rate this hotel highly enough for a holiday experience and good value. I will definately be back to this hotel for my next holiday again and I would love to bring my grandchildren here, especially as the pool setup is so accomodating for the children.

Room Tip: Ask for room in the original building facing the ocean, so you can enjoy the sunsets and watch over...

We stayed at the Anadaman Beach Suites with four grandchildren in the Family suites. The hotel is a 22 storey hotel at the northern end of Patong Beach and only a short walk to the beach. It is surrounded by shops, 7/11's, money changers, restaurants etc. The third floor houses the restaurant, fully equipped gymnasium, full size billiard table and two pool tables, together with an internet room with three PC's (available at minimal cost). There is also a bar and access to the pool area. The pool is not huge but adequate.
Two words to describe the family suites 'absolutely fabulous'. You enter a huge lounge/dining come kitchen are in which two of our kids had beds. It is equipped the TV, DVD player, lounge suite, dining table with seating for six. It has a large balcony facing in a northerly direction which is absolutely ideal for those afternoon drinks without getting blasted by the setting sun. It has lovely views over the sea and the mountains.
The master bedroom is huge with king size bed (little hard for my liking but normal for asia). Room is equpped with TV and it's own northerly facing balcony. It has a walk through wardrobe/dressing table that leads to the bathroom/shower.
The second bedroom contained two single beds, TV and a balcon facing inland. Also with a walk through wardrobe area leading to the second bathroom.
Little extras such as razor blades, tooth brushes, lotions and potions ( to make oneself beautiful- but bit late for me)
Staff were very friendly, helpful in all areas of the hotel from the front desk, to the restaurant to the cleaning staff and I sincerely thank them for making our stay wonderful.
For anyone with children or two couples this room is ideal.
I cannot comment on other rooms as I did not see them but the few people I spoke to said they were great
Level 3 has free WIFI and the Family suite has free WIFI
