Loved the pool here. The breakfast was a huge let down. I'm a huge breakfast fan and I didn't eat it after seeing it once. So many flys and just no choice, literally no choice. Dinner time was better from the set menu. And the pool food was ok. The staff where lovely and the ice cream was Devine and so was the cakes. The room was nice and our view was beautiful of the ocean. It was a clean hotel and suited us just right but just a let down with the breakfast buffet. But staff always so very welcoming and helpful. We all enjoyed our stay :-)

We stayed in the Kalima hotel for 14 nights in October. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the staff were the most friendly and helpful folks.

The rooms in the hotel, even the most basic ones, are absolutely stunning and spacious. They have baths in all of the bedrooms, walk in showers and enough space to swing a horse, let alone swing a cat.

There's an awesome rooftop infinity pool with a bar in the centre with views over Patong. Breakfast is also served on another roof with a 270 degree (ish) view of Patong and the mountains - not a bad way to start each day!

One piece of good advice is to not book anything through the hotel - they tack on a couple of extra quid if you ask them to book a taxi for you and their excursion prices are around triple what they would be if you booked them from a vendor in Patong town. My advice is to go to a few vendors on the street (there are BILLIONS by the way) to haggle prices down as much as possible - we ended up getting a full day touring all the islands in Phuket with snorkelling etc. all for around a tenner each. From the hotel, this would have been £70-80 each easily.

When you're there, I would recommend:

- Visiting all the islands - Phi Phi etc.
- Snorkelling at every opportunity
- Visiting Freedom Beach - you can't get there on foot but there are boats from Patong. It's the most incredible place and there are only usually around 10 people there.
- Tours of Phuket and seeing the big Buddah
- Thai boxing
- Amazing street food (literally, don't even bother going to a restaurant)

In short, amazing place, amazing people, amazing views. Would go back there again in a heartbeat.

We stayed 10 nights, which was a pleasure. We were lucky enough to have a double access pool room, which was superb. The breakfast buffet was good, and the buffet dinner was also wonderful with a stunning view, where we ate there every night. The pool with the swim up bar was exceptional as well. The atmosphere was very quiet and calm. Also, the shuttle bus that took us to Patong was very convenient. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. We would like to make a special mention and a big thank you to Prasarn, Jack, Jessie and the team for making our stay so pleasant. We highly recommend staying at this resort, and we will be back.
