The boyfriend booked this for us to stay over the eve of Valentine's Day. He wanted somewhere beautiful and nice - and it sure was. Terrazzo is a remarkable gem, tucked away from the hustle and bustle, in a quiet area. We were greeted by a spectacular sunset and mountainous view right from our room, an inviting sheltered pool right by the tall trees, cute garden swings, bean bags and colourful flowers on the garden terrace.

Service at this family-run resort was commendable. We had booked room with King Sized bed but were given two Single beds. The pleasant-looking Thai-Chinese lady who showed us to our room was apologetic and quick to rectify this issue, and even personally changed the bed for us. She was also kind enough to carefully support me up the two flights of stairs upon noticing my injured leg and bad limp. Really appreciated that sweet gesture.

Breakfast was provided at the charming traditional hut of a restaurant just next door. A limited but satisfying range of options is provided (tip: go for the Omelette Breakfast, it was delish), and you can enjoy a relaxing, rustic first meal as you gaze into the brightly-lit forested area ahead.

It might be advisable to rent a car or scooter because it doesn't seem that accessible to get out from the resort. It's somewhat hilly and tucked deep inside, away from the main roads. Also, it is highly recommended that you spray sufficient amount of insect repellent before getting out of the hotel room to spend time at the cute garden terrace or swimming pool.

Room tip: Request for room with mountain view - it's just so gorgeous

My husband and I stayed in this quiet, well appointed Hotel for 3 weeks 19/12-08/01/2014). Location is quiet but very central to reach Patong, Karon, Rawai or Chalong without difficulty. The room is very spacious with a gorgeous bed. The staff is friendly, especially the kind and generous host, Dr. Prasit Koysiripong. Thank you Dear Prasit, for becoming our family. We loved our stay in your wonderful hotel. We much appreciated your kindness, caring and humble heart and miss you dearly. with much love and appreciation, Piet and Liesie, South Africa

Room tip: lower and floors makes the lounge, gym, pool and roof garden terraces more easily accessable

Stayed 4 nights and had a lovely time. Compare with other hotels, this one is the best in our trip. Staff are nice, especially "Mr. Thiti", thank you for your help and the arrangement. Breakfast is good, many choice and foods are fresh. Rooms are new, everything is more than OK. Central Festival Phuket is near not far away, we go there not more than 5 mins. Next time we must come here with my children to enjoy the hoildays.

Hiding in the beautiful mountain jungle of Phuket is this peaceful new resort.
Beautiful rooftops facing fantastic view covered with grass and cosy chairs to hang out, a refreshing pool spilling right into the jungle, and cosy balconies to refresh at the end of the day.
Wonderful hospitality by the owner and the team, welcoming, assisting, and eager to expose their guests to the local culture.
Would highly recommend for families who want to escape the hustle of the beach area, for couples, and for workshop organizers who look of a retreat in the mountains of Phuket.

Room tip: Ask for a room facing the view on the 3rd floor

Its a beautiful chic hotel situated away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We had a relaxing 3 days stay at this hotel. The staff were very helpful and were very prompt in delivering their service. We would also like to thank the hotel owner and GM for their wonderful hospitality. I would recommend this hotel for anyone and its totally worth the price. (Great value + nice rooms + excellent service) Just go for it!

Room tip: Rooms with the terrace view
