 THE ROOM :
We were in the serenity suite, which is huge and comfortable.  We slept very well.   Our 10yo son slept on the big coach and he was very comfortable (so you don't need the extra bed).  There is everything you need in the room to make coffee, tea and food.  Ipod dock is cool.  The kitchen was useful.

THE ARRIVAL
Someone was waiting for us after midnight for our arrival.  They help us with our luggage and make everything very easy.  It cost 750 BTH from the airport for  35-40 min drive.

THE SERVICE/STAFF
Don't be shy to ask if you need anything, they are very nice and helpful.  There was something about our food one time and they changed it right away.  The manager even came himself to apologize and make sure everything was allright, he was very kind.

THE FOOD
There is a7/11 in front of the resort, and a 24h grocery at 15min walk.  The Thai food at the restaurant is DELICIOUS !!!  You have to try, it was very very good !!!  And the view from the restaurant was amazing .  The breakfast is also very good.  Lots of choice !

If you want to relax, swim (in the marvelous pool) and eat good food it's the best place !  And the view is great.  The music around the pool is relaxing and very good.  The jazzman and the dj at night (tuesday and thursday) were great.  There is not much to do around, so it is quiet.  You can't swim at the beach but you can take walks on the beach.  On the beach, be careful, because there is a lot of broken glass in the sand, keep your sandals!  what you see on the pictures is what you get.

We will really miss this paradise. We will go back for sure.

Amazing Resort and the best one at the Island of Phuket if you ask me in terms of location, service and excellence teams! Fantastic location right on the beautiful beach with a jump from the great pool to the sea, just wonderful! Also great chilling and relaxing resort where your body and mind merge together...no wonder they called it "Serenity".
Rooms are also well etablished and my next great vacation will be in one of there pool suites, they are just awesome!
It was always a great way to chill out with my laet breakfast and light dinner after my work out of Muay Thai every day, it was a home away from home to get back at to savour the great foods, the salads and mains where just presented with great art and tasted always superb!
Looking forward to my next vacation trip at Serenity!.

Best resort on Phuket! We stayed at a few around the island and made a number of site inspections (travel agents) One word - Fantastic! - The staff were perfect, the resort is so spacious and beautiful.
The rooms - we has a one bedroom suite and loved the funishings and the space!
The day spa is the best we have been too in Thailand and went there everyday!
We felt no need really to leave the resort, the food was incredible, the spa, pool and bar. When we did leave the resort we were just really happy to return!
It was a pleasure to stay there and highly reccomded.

Room Tip: the suites are lovely

We were in serenity for 5 days 18th july to 23rd july yes hotel is far from airport and night life, but i was here for my honeymoon i had very good stay at hotel staff very friendly knows good english and always smiling, Rooms was good enough neat and clean with small balcony and as we walked down to east 88 and pool side we got to see lovely view of sea. all over it was good to stay at serenity value of money.

As we explored rawai we found its not what people say it like... just at walking distance u find Car rental Bike rental just opposite of hotel and few good restaurants nearby and if u really want to see patong and phukt town hotel arranges free shuttle service to both places so no complaints about area its good to stay at serenity :)

Room Tip: Hire car from airport only and if u like adventure hire bike to save lot of transports in phuket just carry ur international license with u do not drive in soi's or small roads after 8 PM

We booked this hotel after researching many in Phuket. The hotel rooms are amazing, clean and large. We were placed in the 800's which is right beside the front lobby. The staff were up laughing and talking loudly until 2-3am. I had to ask them to tone it down so we could sleep. Not really what you expect from a 5 star resort. The pool is gorgeous but the beach is definitely not what it is depicted like in the photos. It's not a lawn chair, relax kind of beach. The hotel website boasts about their shuttle service which is poor at best. Firstly, it only leaves once a day at 10am and returns at 4:30pm. If you happen to miss it or are enjoying your breakfast (until 10am), you are stuck paying 300 BAHT to get to the beach. Oh and if you're not on the morning shuttle, you can't take it in the afternoon so you're stuck paying another 300 BAHT back to the hotel. Granted it's not a ton of money but considering you are paying a lot to stay at a 5 star hotel, you would think there would be at least 2-3 shuttle services to the beach considering their beach is frankly crap. My husband and I were very frustrated and wanted to take the time to let others know. There are good things about this hotel like the size of the rooms and the pool. The service and proximity to nice beaches make this hotel a 3.5-4 star max in my opinion. Compared to the service at other hotels we've stayed at in South East Asia, I am very dissapointed :-( Wish we hadn't booked for 4 days!

Room Tip: Request to not be in the 800 rooms, way too close to the lobby!

Thank you very much for your review.
First of all, we would like to clarify that all our room numbers start with the number 8 in all buildings. Different room types are located in different buildings though.
Our complimentary shuttle bus runs on a schedule and the departure times are clearly advertised, so if the advertised departure time to Nai Harn beach is 10.00h, then we can obviously not wait until 10.30h until the bus departs, in case that some guests wish to have a late breakfast. We think the existing schedule is suitable for the majority of our guests.
Guests, who do not wish to make use of the scheduled free shuttle bus naturally have to pay for separate transportation to other locations on the island.
The reason why the free shuttle bus to Nai harn beach and the shopping center/Patong beach runs only once per day to each location is that we had to make some compromise with the local people, who run the local taxi stand outside of our resort. They make a living with their taxis and we kind of have an obligation to support their business as well.
We hope that this clarifies the issue and remain, Sincerely, Urs - General Manager
