Last day of holiday ad two hours left before catching a plane at phuket airport, people at the entrance of nai yang beach wanted 200 bath for entering the beach..never happened something like that in thailand.I will never come back to Phuket again. On the other side I had a wonderful holiday around khao lak and khao sok, just one hour north by public bus. Really lovely places and no "touristically" managed. You can access all the beaches you want for free there.

Just 5 minuets from Phuket international airport You’ll find one of the best beaches around. Highly recommended

I really enjoyed being on this beach during my holiday. Nice and quiet and relaxed with an amazing sunset!
The village has shops and stalls to get food and drink. There is also a beach massage area. The local strays are friendly and make the beach perfect!

We enjoyed a few sunset evenings at some of the restaurants with beautiful music and friendly staff. We will never forget it! amazing magic atmosphere- to eat and walk all along the beach, watching all the lights of every restaurant.

Wonderful viewpoint for lying on the sand watching the 747's land right over your head.

A really long, narrow and quiet beach... Loads of lovely stones washed up together with shells, driftwood...and those little crabs that come ashore in the surf & then burrow into the sand.. No watersports or beach sellers here!.... Apart from a few vendors in the area near where the planes come over.

Well worth walking along the beach to see the planes. They were landing in the morning... & taking off over the beach in the afternoon, go in the morning! Only 1 or 2 747's, mostly 737's and A330's etc.

You only want to say in this area for a day or 2! It's too quiet! Ideal for the last day or 2 of a holiday.
