I arrived to Udon Thani via Nong Khai. On arrival to the bus station, I took a songthew (for 10 bahts) to McDonald(body language = biting fingers to the driver), which was opposite to Surada Guesthouse. After I crossed the road, there was a sign in front of the guesthouse(before you see the railway line) I'm sure you won't miss it. Also there was a bbq hawker stall.
The room decoration was very retro of late '70, however was very clean. It has a balcony to the the road covered with red bougainvillea. Inside the room has a tv and a fridge that a bottle of water was provided. The partition of the ensuite bathroom wasn't reach to the ceiling but it's not a problem to me since there's only 2 rooms on the 1st floor and the other room was vacant.
I was introduced to Surada's friend from Bangkok who also stayed there on that night, we hang out together, did some shopping at the mall and the night market opposite the road and also tred out the thai dessert.
The next morning I prepared my breakfast at the kitchen, some fresh fruits and yoghurt. Surada kindly arranged a taxi to take me to the airport. I found her a very nice and friendly hostress, will surely stay with her again next time when I visit Udon Again.
