We were staying at the hotel tapsus per week at may. The food is good, the place seems peacfull and quete, but the best thing was animators, my dear friend Selim was so nice! He was joyfull and funny, he made our holiday so much better, thank you, Selim, i hope we will see tou in Lithuania ❤️❤️❤️
Stayed at Club Thapsus for the third time, for my daughters wedding. Rooms were more than adequate, and any minor problems were dealt with promptly. Director and all the staff there were lovely, extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Hope to stay there again in the next year. Great people and fantastic weather.
Room was pretty much standard - I think whether you are 3 star or 5 star, all rooms are the same. Hotel was clean, pool area excellent. Felt the Hotel could do with more staff. We frequently had long wait times at the bar areas in the evening owing to lack of staff, or lack of glasses ! Running out of ice was also a frequent occurrence. Food quality was poor. Plenty of options, just poor quality. So, where I would give the Hotel an 8 out of 10 based on its pool, its accessibility to the beach, its cleanliness, the 8 out of 10 is then downgraded to 6 out of 10 because of the poor quality of food, and the lack of staffing numbers - and at times we found 1 or 2 members of staff quite rude.
To be honest, I was a bit scared at the beginning. My fear disappeared as I entered the hotel. Staff was helpful, nice, willing. Everybody called me "my friend" with that strong accent (oh, how much I loved it). Rooms were clean, air-conditioning functional. When I saw so many dishes to choose, I was so indecisive, I was full every single day. As for the beach, I have never seen anything more beautiful so far. The sea was clear, blue, quite warm. "Baywatch guys" were keeping an eye on us, bartenders were smiling all the time (especially Mohamed who was responsible for distributing the bottled water and Ali - "Arabic prince"). Animation team was active, amazing, outstanding (special thanks to Tito - best dancer ever and Badi - the strongest animator in Thapsus), all of them just took my breath away :). If I could choose where to go next summer, I would definitely be heading for hotel Thapsus again. I didn´t leave there only dinars but my heart as well :)
I have spent few days with the family. Well, they need to make a lot of maintenance in this hotel. The price is not to bad so everyone is attracted from this structure. Unfortunately the manager is not really interested on who is coming but on how many. If you have a look at the doors, you understand immediately that were built like 20 years ago... The room furniture are made in a old wooden and now are getting a little stinky... I have used the little kids pool, with my kid, but there is no rule about have a shower before to get in the pool so it could happen that after a wile, with many women using "burkini" (long fully covering Islamic Swimwear), getting from the beach to the pool crossing the garden or many people not having a short shower before entering the pool... you can imagine the water in that kid pool gets dark and dirty... You don't feel ok to leave your kid on that water anymore. A better rule for everyone could help more. The overall is ok but, they have a big problem with internet. Is not working, and people was struggling to get a connection. Specially if you have i-phone or huawei phone or laptop. In the 2017 is not acceptable.
The breakfast is not bad, but you need a good 5 minutes line before you can have a omelette... The security is ok, the close the gate after every person and there is no access for cars too close to the main entrance. They control every entrance and the police is all over the place.
