Great hotel, but its shame that its closed now?? I hope they will open it soon. I like especially that its not so big so it has good atmosphere and its not overcrowded during dinners, breakfasts etc...

best hotel in Djerba (Tunesia) with perfect services, nice location, nice beach close to hotel. Meal was perfect. It is but quite far from airport. There was 2 pools (one was quiet), sport's activities (beach volleyball, mini golf,..)

It was the first time I went to Djerba and Tunisia. The hotel is okay for a stay of one week... But I wouldn't stay here any longer. The food is really not the best. I really had some bad problems with my stomach. So I stayed with noodles, pizza and frites for a whole week. But the waiters were always friendly.
The staff was really nice and always friendly. The room was cleaned every day and very good.
We were at the relaxing pool in the mornings and went to the beach for afternoon (hard to get an umbrella and a deck chair, but in the ende we always got one).
The pools are very clean und nice to swim in. What we really liked, was the fact, that you got free drinks everywhere (beach an pool) and anytime. You even got bottles of water for your hotel room. (Neighbours had an "all inclusive hotel on Djerba and they had to pay the drinks).
The rooms were really good. I've never had such a big closet in a hotel. It's even bigger than my at home. Beds were comfortable und the loggia was nice.
In the end I would say, the hotel was okay for the price we payed. I would also come back to Djerba, but probably another hotel...

Room tip: Choose one that is not close to the lobby. We had 2 rooms on the left part to the front (the busses were there but I didn't hear them, so that was a very good deal). I had a single room and it was big enough for two.

Quite nice hotel with good choise of food. Sandy beach with acceptable water quality. Staff were friendly and we had no problem.

We traveled in 2 people with all inclusive. Bottled water without limit was in all inclusive.

Overall my experience at Club Calimera was that of a positive one. You cannot go there expecting luxury 5 star as it is not. The rooms were in good condition and cleaned every day, even leaving nice towel decorations on the bed. We had a room overlooking the entrance of the hotel, it was very quiet as it on the other side of the building where they hold all of the beach/pool parties. All of the staff were welcoming, however there was a bit of a language barrier as 98% of guests are German. The food was not something I could complain about there was always a very large selection of food and it was always being restocked. Unless you decide to have lunch in the restaurant on the beach the Germans line up 2 hours prior and take all the food. That was the only shame about this place is that it has been taken over by rude and arrogant Germans! They used their hands to take the food and took all of it even if they did not finish. They are always lining up to take beer as soon as it opens at 10am!!!! You get one complimentary night at the actual restaurant which was lovely. The beach is what made this holiday so memorable! It is a dream. Obviously there was a bit of seaweed but if you go really early in the morning the tide is extremely low you can walk out to the water 100m and see your feet so clearly it was spectacular. We made good friends with one of the men with a horse on the beach his name was Bensamar and his horse Cesar. He was really lovely, as were all the others trying to sell you things he even took us out for a night in Djerba for some coffee. Overall, I had a great time the beach is what will convince me to go there again. For a cheap holiday, I think I got more than what I paid for!

Room tip: Rooms facing the entrance of the hotel as opposed to the pool are very quiet.
