Travelled from Leeds Bradford End of February for one week. Cost of holiday good less than 500 pounds each for a week all inclusive for two adults.
Flight good just under 3 hours. Arrival Good, nice new airport easy transit to coaches. Transfer to the hotel is a long and for me a depressing experience. One hour forty minutes of driving through squalid dirty and deprived areas. We stopped at a few hotels on route and it seem that each hotel tries to be a tourist oasis in this midden.
Hotel reception was good and the eagerness to please can be overpowering. We were given our room and told it was a very very nice room. It was clean but small, just enough for two adults, I believe they will put an extra bed in for children but was told by one family this prevented the opening of the wardrobe doors. Our room was over reception which was noisy from six in the morning until late at night with coaches and other traffic arriving, we relocated to the other side of the block without any fuss. If you want a bigger room with a television ask for a room on the top floor Usually 10 dinars a night extra.
The dining is by allocated table and waiter and the service was good. This service is given as with all the staff in the hotel with the expectation of a tip. The food was good plenty of choice for a weeks stay. However I could not eat the breakfast sausages.
All inclusive drinks good and snacks during the day were ok. We had great weather and made the most of the pool area which was great, this I think made the holiday.
If you wish to do anything outside the hotel you will need to take a taxi as it is pretty remote. The choice to go somewhere in the evening would have been nice as the entertainment was not that good, Bingo Karaoke and a few local events.
Shopping is awash with designer fakes and provided by a few shops and stalls in the hotel. I am surprised that the designer fake trade with it's association with the drugs and human trafficking companies like Thomas Cook allow such trade to be carried out in there hotels.
Would I go again, Yes if the price and weather was right.

Room Tip: Rooms are small not suitable for more than 2 people.

just returned from the sahara beach stayed 26th feb to 4th march. The hotel is good but in the wrong location tunisia on the whole is a rubbish tip.The hotel is well off the beaten track with nothing around it.The hotel could do with a bit of updating. The staff are very friendly and cant do enough for you the food is a bit hit and miss. The grounds of the hotel are fab there are 3 outdoor pools and 1 indoor pool. There is a snack bar on the beach so you can have a sandwich or a burger. The rooms are small but clean we had a fab maid and nothing was to much trouble.Would i go there again no it was the country i didnt like not the hotel. The animation team worked had to put on shows in the evening and tried to get you involved in the day time activities. You are given a table on arrival at the resturant and if you tip your waiter you have excellent service if you dont you will get ignored it is all about tipping in this hotel.

this was honestly the worst place i have ever stayed in my whole entire life! the only good thing about it was the pool.
.bedroom was tiny and not very clean, very dated.
.bathroom there was mould up the walls.
.nighttime entertainment was awful! so cringe and just the worst i have ever seen.
.pool time entertainment was almost as awful as nighttime. they kept on playing hey hey baby.
.the village was boring, nothing to do really dirty scummy.
.the markets sell the exact same things as the hotel were not even worth going to.
.the food was horrendous ate pizza the whole time even in the poshish? restraurant was really rubbish too.
.ate out one night at a mexican was nice!!!
.beach is sooo bad! covered in sea weed so cant even go into the sea and its full of people who hound you for money.
.the airport staff are not very friendly at all. our flight was delayed had no money etc etc

over all do not stay here. is awful and a waste of money your better spending a little more money and going somewhere nice because i didnt even enjoy one day at this hotel. you just felt really unwlecome. please for your own good dont come here. the only person who made me happy when i was there was the cocktail man he was nice and funny.

Room Tip: dont go here. trust me

We booked this trip only 4 days before we set off. We read Trip Advisor reviews as we always do so were quite prepared for what to expect. Yes the hotel itself could do with a spruce up but the grounds are fabulously well kept and very spacious. The staff are fabulously helpful, friendly and polite. The shops on site allow you to browse at leisure and don't hassle you to buy. I loved the food and always found something I really enjoyed. My partner tells me the beer wasn't good but the gin and tonic was just the ticket! We went to relax and that's what we did. The location isn't exactly conducive to getting out and about outside the hotel without a taxi or bus so can feel a little restrictive. However for time away at great value for money - it's a no brainer!

Room Tip: Rooms away from the hotel entrance will be quieter as airport transfers can be quite noisy late at n...

my boyfriend and myself stayed 8th november 2011 for 2 weeks. we found the hotel could have done with a lick of paint and new decor. The hotel staff were excellent, very friendly and extremly helpful. The food in the restaurant was very apetising and we always found
a dish that we could enjoy, i even had a waiter cooking lasagne for me one night
I did find the rooms to be a little basic but compared to what you have surrounding your room is unbelievable, the gardens and the pool areas are beautiful
I went horse riding on the beach, we had some brilliant days out. The trip to the sahara desert is a must. Many thanks to our rep for a wonderful holiday. We will certainly be back to the sahara beach in a couple of years..

Room Tip: the higher up you go the view is more spectacular.

I was part of Stevie,s party and let me say without the lads who entertained us everynight for a week it would have been a bit dead to say the least, the shows the hotel put on are i would say mostly for children and teenagers, the animation team work hard and are delightful to talk to ,the country is nothing but a rubbish dump, every where you went rubbish met you,the hotel is clean and i found the staff very polite and helpful, the piano bar was our domain and thanks to the lads got a P.A. system set up they even got the hotel to buy a mike stand, any guest who was lucky enough to be there between the 8th to 15th of Febuary would have had a great time, the thing that got to me was when the all inclusive bar finished at midnight a couple of the lads who had been entertaining were refused a drink when they came of the "stage",i enjoyed our week there but that was the company i was with and have to say i wouldn,t go back to Tunisia

Room Tip: depends on what your happy with, basic but clean, upgrade if you want
