We spent a couple of nights at Kantaoui Bay, the room was quite good, the view from the balcony is stunning!! Staff is very kind, special thanks to Ahmed and Mariem! But the Spa is my favorite point!! Ask for moufida she will do her best to make feel comfortable. However, one negative note about food, can definitely do better.

Our last day at this hotel and I can say that it is one of the best. The hotel is spotless, the rooms are clean and well furnished. The biggest asset this hotel has is the staff, they all go out of there way to be friendly and welcoming. Special thanks to, Mazda, Ishmael, and Omar.Its a pity that English tourists are still not using this hotel due to the trouble 3 years ago. The hotel very secure with security staff and police patrols. I would definitely return.

This was the 7th or 8th visit to this hotel and it is not quite up to the standards previously experienced when it was The Imperial Maharba.Many of the staff have been here for years and we were greeted as old friends and looked after like royalty by Chocri(porter)Ben(waiter pool) Majdouline(Waitress restaurant) Lofty(Beach) Aemon and Boccar(pool bar) and lastly my very good friend Khamaise the pool attendant who is brilliant.
The restaurant lets the side down.There used to be a dress code for men and although the sign is there GENTLEMEN ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR LONG TROUSERS AT DINNER nobody enforces the rule.Tables used to allocated for the duration of your stay but this no longer happens and guests wander about the restaurant looking for tables. Also there are no longer any Table Cloths just strips across the table.The food though is very good. The Animation team try their very best but they are not brilliant.There were Quite a few children there but this hotel would be far better as adults only as there is nothing there for Kids anyway.The hotel is being taken over by IberoStar and I hope they will make the above small changes to restore this great hotel back to its former wonderful glory. We had such a great time in this hotel. The GM is Always arounf looking at the happiness of its guest but also caring about the staff. Animation is great for kids and adults, food is top, rooms are clean and spacious, reception area is really nice, staff is very friendly and attentive, the beach is of soft natural White sand while the various pools (salty or not) are large and clean. Shows are also good. Well in short we and our 2 kids had a wonderful time and we highly recommend.

Good check in at the hotel, our room was ready.
Hotel staff treated us like royalty, probably because we were the only English people in the hotel!!
The room was clean and well presented.
The main areas were also very clean and well maintained. Two lovely pools, one salt water and the other slightly heated.

The restaurant at night had a good choice of foods. We always went to the seating area of Ishmal, what a lovely man, couldn't do enough to help us.

Can't fault the staff, they were exceptional.

Hotel grounds well kept.

The only little niggle that I found, a Mini Bar was advertised!!!! Well you got a fridge with nothing in it, we were told that this and the tea and coffee would be replenished at 12 every day..... well it wasn't, we asked 3 times for more tea and sugar but none came. We asked at reception and the housekeeping staff twice. Not really a problem we just filled up from the breakfast bar in the morning.

Beds need updating, and mattress covers need to be used.
