Last week we have had an all inclusive stay in the Kleopatra Ramira hotel in Alanya. A nice and not too busy resort where you can relax in 2 pools and a big terrace. The place is good situated, very close to the centre and about 10 minutes walking to the beach. There's also a free busshuttle to the beach! The food is normal and not very special. The breakfast is good and tasteful!

We had just come from Monte Carlo hotel, and this is a much nicer hotel.
The food is great, service is good, rooms are nice. Although they did not clean the floor, so the last days it was very sandy and overall dirty.
I liked that they gave 3 litres of water every day. Haven't seen, that any other hotel gives this much free water.
Location is okay, it's like 15 minutes to the beach, but if you want to walk to the beach where are the hotels sunbeds, then it's about 30 minutes of walking. Overall it's in a quiet place, great for families.
We went out on Friday night and one waiter named Omar suggested we go to Picasso bar (his brother owns it) and that he will give free cocktails to the ladies. Of course this was a lie, he was very rude, yelled at a Finnish girl, because she wasn't interested in him and then he asked her to pay 20 euros for 2 cocktails. When we wanted an explanation, he pushed my friend and wanted to start a fight. Very unpleasant and rude, stay away from him.

Room Tip: Choose a room that's on the other side of the pool.

I am amazed by the reviews for this hotel. Can only imagine they have been written by the manager. So let's start with the manager. The most unhelpful unfriendly hotel manager I have ever met. Well unless you're 25 and female and Russian....so our 750 quid per person all inclusive started ok. The pool is small and in the shade. Nothing near enough sun beds for the amount of people. We arrived at 2.30am so next day were a bit weary. We finally got some pool towels in our room and took them down. We needed cigarettes (the hotel shop doesn't exist) so went to local shops. The hotel closes the pool at 6pm so when we got back our towels were gone. When I spoke to the unbelievably uninterested manager he virtually accused us of stealing the towels. After an argument he generously said we could have 2 but we would have to pay for 4. They never appeared despite numerous requests and we ended up buying some. Worse than that a child broke his collar bone coming down the unattended water slide. After he was rushed to hospital not a single member of hotel staff asked that family if everything was ok or if they needed help. On our final day (checking out at midday and leaving at 9pm) we were told we couldn't extend our room (hotel was half full) or even pay for a room for a few hours to have a shower. Food started ok and went downhill rapidly. Beach at least 20 mins walk. Give it a miss. 3 star at most. Music/"entertainment" repetitive. Coffee machine always breaking down. Maid service peripatetic. Alanya is massive. Go somewhere quieter and more friendly. Oh and the beds are like concrete and the walls like paper. Never again
