“Great location”
Reviewed 16 March 2011

The location of the hotel was great. Just few minutes from the beach. Staff was OK, but the owner wasn't too friendly. The room was clean and fine.

I read few reviews before I went and I was little scared, how it will be.
But,..., people in hotel are nice and friendly, ready to help if u need help. If u approach with smile you will be more than welcome.
Room was nice, clean, (no seasight, but you have nice view on pool). Cleaning lady changed my towels almost every day. Food, well I had HB, and I m sure that food will not be too good for most of people, but I m not gourmand, fruit and salad is more than enough for me (and there is plenty of both of that).
Location, hotel is near of center, you can walk or take a bus (ticket is 70 cents) and near of beach, 3 minutes of walk.
Beach is nice, clean, guys on beach are friendly, ready to help, if you wanna talk they are there if not they will not bother you. They are respecting "private space".
Would I recommend this hotel? For people those need clean room and friendly personnel, good location (near center) and nice beach, YES, I will recommend this hotel.
For people those are planning spend most of vacation inside hotel premises, NO.
Hotel is too small for that kind vacation.

And Yes I will back to this hotel again, I like Alanya, beautiful place with lot of things to see and do.

when we arrived hotel was overbooked so they put us in some building beside the hotel, it was terrible, bugs everywhere, it wasn't cleaned few months and it was very noisy from the road, so we couldn't sleep..
after three days trying to get into hotel we finally packed all things and sit at the reception until we get the room, which was ok, but they cleaned it every third or fourth day, towels also problematic, so it's not three star for sure..
food was very poor, breakfast standard cheese, salami and potatoes, diner very bad, not meet at all, and free service means that one man is putting food instead of you, two slides of potato is not enough!

The only really good thing is beach, it's three minutes walk from hotel, clean and species..

I will never go aging in that hotel, for sure

The management of this hotel have many petty rules, one of which, which they don't mention on their web site, is the rule you cannot take water and drinks to your room.
After buying some gifts in the local bazaar and almost keeling over with the heat, I had a part used bottle of water in my purchases.
Erol, the receptionist chased after me up the stairs and snatched the plastic carrier off me. I took it back, he then tried to prise the handles out of my hands, my wife fled fearing he would start a fight.
He evetual seized the bottle and raced back downstairs with the bottle.
He said it was impolite not to buy all drinks from hotel.
I pointed out that I had spent some 90 euro already in four days.
Later he refused to give me a receipt for the bottle which he said he would return to me on my departure.
I have never encountered such an appalling approach to reception duties in all my life and my extensive travels.
I write not only for this forum, but others too.
The man is clearly unsuited to a job requiring advanced inter-personalskills.
On my final day, I paid the bill I had been presented with for bar use- you do not get the chance to initialise purchases and this have to rely on the honesty of the staff.
At midday I gave my keys to the manager and asked to park my suitcases in reception for about 6 hrs awaiting my taxi shuttle.
Erol was on duty all this time.
When I came to leave, he rushed up to the taxi and demanded I return to his desk as he claimed I had bought items after settling the bill which simply was not true.
He called the taxi driver in and security.
The manager said to stop his behaviour and I was told to get out.
Otherwise a friendly hotel!
No whole grain at breakfast.
Orange juice added to bill even on half board and even after reception tell you it is free on half board!
Evening meals, good on salads, best to avoid the meat course as it is probably sourced from Red Army surplus world war 2 stock.
The soups are allpowder based
Melons have musty odour of past sell by date veg.
The table staffare friendly.
If you take a coffee from one side of pool- the eating area to other you will get lecture.
One old man who had a sip of water with his pills each day was charged for a full bottle every time.
reception tells Nordic visitors that rooms are 200TL per night. In uk you can get them for £7.00 - more deception by the hotel...

Each room has a balcony overlooking the pool and/or ocean with decent amenities. The waiters and the bartenders were very friendly and helpful. I was one of the very few English as my first language people there at that time. All the rest were German and kept to themselves mostly. Most of the staff spoke some English but there were a few front desk clerks that didn't understand me very well. My telephone was broken and it took three days to get a new one. As soon as the manager was told, a new phone appeared immediately. You can get the room with a buffet breakfast and dinner included. The restaurant manager went out of his way to make sure everyone was pleased with the food and service, as well as being most helpful.

I stayed here for a few nights on 2 occasions at the beginning of december 2009. the hotel cost about 2 pounds per night room only, and for that it is one of the best places i have ever stayed. the staff were all helpful and friendly. the property had an indoor and outdoor swimming pool - which was still working out of season. it was only a few minutes walk to the lovely sandy beach of alanya, which had nice views of the castle above the beach. it is only about 10 minutes walk from the alanya bus station aswell. unfortunately inroom tv channels were only in german and turkish. there was a bath tub and plenty of free toiletries in each room including a manual shaver! most rooms also have balcony. I would stay here again in a shot as it makes an excellent base.
