What a beautiful little hotel of great value. I stayed here a few nights back in June of 2015, and then again for 3 nights July of 2016. Excellent value, beautiful setting and convenient to enjoy downtown historic district narrow alleys, restaurants, shops and bazaar. Its very convenient to go across the street and down to the Cleopatra beach to enjoy yourself for the day. (get to that beach early for a decent lounge chair, as it gets packed...and also make sure to take your own towel/sarong). The pool at the hotel is also very charming. Unfortunately, it was actually too hot in the afternoons to enjoy the hotel outdoor areas until evening, so I didn't hang out at their pool this year. The only negative, is that the air conditioning in the room (climate controlled by the front desk) was not able to keep up with the extra hot conditions, therefore, the room was uncomfortably hot to really relax in the afternoons. (it cooled down sufficiently in the room in the evenings and mornings.) I would definitely recommend this hotel to others...but due to the air con challenges, I probably wouldn't return during the months of July or August. I got a room with a view, which was spectacular. I have also stayed in the smallest economy room, which was tighter quarters, but still sufficiently nice.
