Very quite hotel. Room getting cleaned every day. First day I had problem with air condition and I told about this girl's from guest relations to Aida, she immediately called to technical service and turned out my air condition from automatic system.

After reading some of the comments was slightly worried about going to the Lara but we had a good week here, we arrived at 4.45am and was promptly checked in and shown the way to our room in block 8, we had a family room which was a good size for the 3 of us, (me, my hubby & our 16 year old) it’s was very clean & the mini fridge with drinks & a free safe to use was a bonus, yes you do need to be an early bird & get your towels down, but to be honest isn’t this the norm now for many hotels? The pool area is lovely and the slides are a good bit of fun, the area is kept so clean & the staff work so hard, food wise you can always find something to eat, and yes some of the staff aren’t over friendly but I think this could be down to the language barrier, our negatives are there is not a lot to do outside of the hotel, and the rudeness of other guests! So get your hard face on and give it back!

I have just returned from a week at lara beach Family Club. Travelled with my husband and 3 children aged 11,7,3. We loved every minute. Spotlessly clean, room was huge with a large front room consisting of sofa armchairs tv mini bar. Two large bedrooms so felt very home from home. Yes not many staff speak english but understandable we are in Turkey. I'm sure Turkish people would think the same in the UK that not many of us would know Turkish. All inclusive is fantastic runs from Breakfast 7am-10am Lunch till 6pm then dinner starts at 7.30pm and if you still havent eaten enough they reopen at 11.30pm for anyone who may have midnight munchies. The beach is a very short walk or a air conditioned mini bus does pick ups outside hotel and again benefits from all inclusive food and drink too. Plenty of drinks fresh pizza cooked in fire ovens, beautiful wooden decked pier with sunloungers and a bar perfect sunbathing spot. Plenty of shaded areas for young children aswell which had double beds to lay on which is good if they need a nap. Plenty of sunloungers. There are lifeguards at the beach that are very professional always paying attention to what is going on.
People moan that the food isnt great but for such a large complex catering for so many people they do fantastic. Yes the food can be repetitive but I think you find that in all places when going all inclusive.
You can also use the ramada hotel which is opposite as part of your stay. Eating Drinking and the pools. I am looking forward to returning again next year.

Spent a week in the Lara Family Club hotel with my friend. We had read the negative review but we had a really good week the room was good - clean towels everyday. The food though a little odd - they did cater for all tastes and we did not go hungry. The staff worked extremely hard and could not do enough for you. We actually enjoyed going to the private beach everyday. We spent our time on the pier. We had lunch in the snack bar there, pizza that was freshly cooked. The bar staff in the bar were alway accommodating - bless them they were always rushed off their feet! - free ice creams during the afternoon which was lovely. Entertainment was a bit samey but it got both hotels together and it was nice to see so many many enjoying their evening. On our last day they had the transformer characters come out for photographs and they had a bbq in the entertainment area. They had the big screens up everywhere for people to watch the world cup. We felt they could not do enough for us.

We have just returned after a 14 day stay as a family of 5.
The jet2 check in and flight started so well, very quick and efficient, however this was not to last. The transfer to the hotel was fairly quick.
On arriving at the hotel the male receptionist served us and another family at the same time. We were given 1 keycard for 5 of us with no details or explanation of where to go. We took our own cases and found our room. It was a 2 bedroom family room like we requested, no issues there but we met many families that did NOT get the room they paid for!!

At the welcome meeting with the jet2 rep we were only told how to get to the beach and about the trips on offer nothing else.
The mini bar was only restocked 3 times in 2 weeks.
The room could have been cleaner and there was a swell of urine constantly in the shower room.
The outside pool are is kept clean.
The lifeguards are great with the kids.
Most of the bar staff are really nice and friendly.
On the first day we couldn't get a sunbed as people reserve them before 7am. They have signs up saying towels will be removed by staff after 30mins. This DOES NOT happen, we sat beside beds reserved with towels before 9am and they were still not used at 5-25pm when we went in. This was reported to guest relations who couldn't care less.
On our second day we were looking for somewhere out of the blazing sun to eat and the restaurant was busy, as was the snack bar so the kids got something at the snack bar and we walked over to a shaded area where we sat down for the boys to eat. After 5 minutes a female member of staff approached us and told us to move as we were not permitted to eat in that area, even though there are no signs telling you this! The kids were not even given time to finish their meal.
However the next day we walked through this area and there were at least 20 tables full of people eating. I immediately went to the same member of staff who moved us the previous day and asked her why it was okay for them to eat there when we were moved and she rolled her eyes and sighed in response!! I went to the bar manager and spoke to him about it but nothing was done. The rest of the holiday people were regularly eating in that area! I put this on their facebook page about rules applying to some and not others and their reply was to contact guest relations which is a waste of time and they know what room I am in. We were given a small bottle of red wine in our room and a plate of fruit as well as nights in some of the restaurants, which were all lovely.
However on our visit to the turkish restaurant we had 2 children running after the kittens and spitting on them at the edge of our table and all over the floor watched by their mother who couldnt see anything wrong with this. We asked the mother to remove her son from our table, and we asked the chief but he didn't want to offend them even though they were NOT even eating in the restaurant!! It was so bad we never stayed for dessert! This was reported to guest relations on 3 separate occasions with nothing being done!! They only take action if it is put on their facebook page.
The dinner hall is an experience, if you go early you get glasses and napkins on the table, after 7 to 7-30 you are lucky to get cutlery. Everyone barges in, noone waits their turn, young children are running around fingering food then putting it back in the trays. Grown men put things on their dirty plate and then scrape it back in to the trays after smelling and trying some. It was awful! We were so disappointed as this is not what we paid for!!
I have never had so many arguments on any other holiday I have been on due to rude ignorant people, and the staff never intervene or say a word to them, it is as if they are scared of losing their job if they dont serve the people jumping to the front of the queue. We met some lovely people but we also met some of the most obnoxious, rude ignorant on the planet.
The cabanas are brilliant at a cost of 45 euros for the day 9 till 6 with a private butler from 10 till 4.
The local buses are cheap but they all try to rip you off. One trip cost us 50 tl while the same trip another day cost 30 tl and they try to keep your change but ask for it when leaving!!
On leaving there was no availability to keep your room on so have to get showered in the spa which has 1 shower for a lot of people fighting to get in at the same time.

This hotel is by no means a 4 or 5 star more like a 2 to 3 but a holiday is what you make it and we made the most of it but shall never return to this hotel ever.

Dear Guest,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While I wish you had a better experience, it is feedback like this that we learn from and use to improve. We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short. If you give us a chance to earn back your trust, I can assure you that we will do our best to give you the great hotel experience that so many of our guests have grown so fond of.
Sincerely/CRM
