Every year we travell with 4 families together to europe. We are all from India. But we experience a new dimension of hospitality at Turkey

Excellent hotel. Mr Happy is unforgettable. We learned what is called hospitality in true sense. In Business we use a term "Customer is God" . Happy made us to feel like God.

Thanks Happy for your hospitality and service. We will not forget You

When we arrived to Liman Hotel, we felt rescued from our previous supposedly four-star hotel. Hassan greeted us like old friends. The room was simple, but completely clean and fresh. The tile floor eliminates any chance of the icky dank carpet feeling you sometimes get by seaside hotels. We walked upstairs to the rooftop and were smiling, chatting, and giggling with the staff within minutes, looking out at a beautiful sunset over the ocean with a glass of local wine in hand. By the time we finished an absolutely divine mezzo plate and kabob - the staff apologized for not having a menu because they buy their ingredients fresh every day so their offerings change - the staff were serenading each other and us, and we felt like part of the family. Delicious fruit and local dessert were served on the house.

Picked this hotel based on Trip Advisor reviews and were not disappointed. The room was simple, but clean and comfortable. Request a room on the third or fourth floors facing the water. Balconies are small but big enough for two chairs & the view of the port and the castle are great. Breakfast and drinks are served on the rooftop terrace with a view of the city & the port. Fresh strawberries & halvah for breakfast! Very friendly service. Much better than the mega hotels that abound. And same-day laundry for $2!

The locations was perfect, across the street from the marina, not too far removed from any shuttle dropoff/pickup you might enlist, walking distance to some great restaurants. The rooms themselves are pretty barren, but come equipped with A/C, tvs, complimentary slippers and ours had a fantastic little balcony we appreciated. It was somewhat chilly during our stay (October) so the roof I've read about was not open and we ate breakfast downstairs in the lobby/hangout area. Breakfast was great. Food, tea, whatever - it was all very good.

Hasan, the owner, was wonderfully helpful recommending restaurants, helping us set-up a trip to Pamukkale (WELL worth it - pay extra for cleopatras pool) and answering all of our questions. We didn't meet too many of the other guests, but the ones we did meet seemed very friendly.

My biggest difficulty with the country of Turkey was the sheer lack of portable caffeine available, that when you did stumble across a starbucks (only coffee joint i found outside of Istanbul that offered to-go cups) they didn't open early enough for our crazy travel sched. I solved this by asking for an empty cup and lid at starbucks the night before and Hasan being wonderful enough to fill it with tea in the morning before we left for the trek back to the airport. In the future I would bring a travel mug i could wash out.

As a little known side-note, I can't recommend checking out the National Park near town enough. It requires a car, but we had a very nice picnic looking out at the island of Samos with melons we bought off the back of a truck and some cheese, bread and wine we bought at the market. Do be congnizant of your surroundings however, around sunset we saw not one, but two wild boar roaming!

It's been all said before. This Is a HAPPY hotel run by Hasan and staff. Good location, clean good sized bedrooms, wi fi, good breakfasts, good laundry service and helpful staff.
Booking process was easy with a quick response to my emails.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a balcony and a sea view.

We booked a 10-day custom tour of Turkey, and made a hotel change in Kusadasi from a mass-produced hotel to Liman Hotel. I am not kidding when I say that for our family this was the highlight of the trip! Hasan was an incredible host to everyone, and the minute we walked in the door there was a warm, happy vibe that stayed with us throughout the day. For the two nights we stayed here I felt like we were visiting special friends. You can see from other reviews that I rarely give such glowing praise. Rooms were not fancy, but everything was great and cosy. Breakfast was amazing. Hasan and everyone bent over backwards to help and make sure we were taken care of. I highly recommend staying at this hotel, and hope we can get an excuse to come back to Kusadasi to visit!
