We stayed for one night and it was fine for a short stay but, friendly and pleasant as the owner was, I wouldn't want longer. The room was adequate, the beds OK, but there was no bedside light and if there's anything I hate it's groping my way across the room in the dark after putting the main light out. Nor was there a chair for our clothes.
We opted for the 'Home cooked Turkish meal'; the main course very good but the soup that preceded it was terrible, sort of tomato noodle tasting only of salt, really couldn't eat it.
And so to bed and a very disturbed night; I couldn't believe the amount of traffic noise in such a small village and it went on well into the small hours.
So, no, I wouldn't stay there even though the value for money is excellent.

Aspawa Hotel (or Pansiyon)is located on a quiet street a little way from the center of Pamukkale. The owner, Adem, speaks English well and was very friendly and helpful. The computer use was free. The rooms and the restaurant are all up an outside stairs to the second floor with a small swimming pool below. The room was clean and had a wardrobe for clothing but no chair or hooks. The Turkish breakfast was good. The bathroom had good hot water in the evening, but it was only warm in the morning. The shower had a curtain to keep the water away from the toilet area. A light near the mirror would have been helpful for shaving. The bed was covered by a heavy duvet which was uncomfortably hot.

We had a nice stay here. Kind and helpful owner. It looks run down but everything works fine and has a certain charm to it. Great local meal at the pension (with expensive wine :( ). Very clean room with small bathtub! Just one thing which was not great. The rooms are a bit noisy.

The owner is SO nice and welcoming, the food is Amazing, and the rooms are a good value. The view is perfect from the root, and its maybe 8 minutes walking distance from the hierapolis and ruins.
to put it simply, if you're on a budget- stay here.

Most of all I loved the friendly, family atmosphere there. I came only to stay one day, but in the end I stayed longer, because it`s such a lovely place, I realy felt myself at home. Everyone there look after me, is friendly and helpfull. So it`s also good, when you`re traveling alone.
The rooms are bright, clean and with heating and A/C .
They offer very good home cooked meals. The prices are very fair.

Apsawa offers good value with their clean and bright rooms. Adem constantly checks with us if everything is ok and offers to extend the check-out time if we are taking an afternoon or evening bus.

The dinner is ok, but after the wonderful home-cooked meal we had at Homeros Pension (Selcuk), this falls short.

I would advise guests to be patient, especially if Adem is not around as his friend who helps out can't speak english, so it was quite trying for us when we first arrived. We were given another room and not the one that Adem has prepared for us. She also insisted that we paid in lira although it was confirmed in Euro. We put this down to language barrier and not any fault of Adem or Apsawa Pension Hotel.

Overall, we would still recommend Apsawa to other visitors.
