I spent 9 days with my family and friends in this Hotel. It was my third time at Marmaris but this place was a disappointment!!!
Well lets starts with the positive things because they are little (1 thing actually :) ): Its location. This is the only good thing..the view from the balcony is really amazing!
Now, moving to the bad reviews: The rooms were too small, too dirty! very low ceilings, A/C not working in the 3 rooms! The towels are changed every 3 days and never changed the sheets for 9 days, and when we asked at the reception the rude guy say that this is the policy and if we want sheets we should fix our beds by ourselves. The breakfast is terrible! Plates and glasses are oily and dirty, i only had breakfast once and then i ate outside the hotel.. No visitors are allowed: My friend's brother tried to visit us but they didnt let him go up! As the wifi is very slow and don't reach every room ( i dont know if it was because of the guy at the reception who was streaming a russian movie) but we wanted to make a local phone call to the guide but they were like; our phone system don't dial local numbers only rooms number (what a lie!!!!). If you went there by mistake, please try to talk with the manager (a man with white hair sitting in the room near the reception) he is the most rude and disrespectful creature ive ever met!! The only positive thing about this hotel is the girl with short black hair at the reception. She is sweet, helpful and amazingly friendly. Please save your vacation and never go there :s

Room Tip: Dont! Choose another hotel

Myself and my mum have just come back from our stay at the hotel mehtap beach in marmaris we had booked to go all inclusive but that didn't actually come off the food was disgusting the bar didn't have any soft drinks or alcohol to choose from. The staff where very unsociable didn't acknowledge you and the hotel wasn't very clean please check before you decide to go to this hotel. I definitely won't be returning.

The room and view fantastic, but not user friendly for partially/disabled people. No hand rails on to the decking so we had to dine indoors. There was no beach service so we used alternative, which we had to pay, but never the less worth every penny. So sad as we stayed at Mehtap our first visit to turkey and was fab. The swimming pool was second to none on our first visit, now a dirty postage stamp. Never the less we enjoyed our stay, majority of the staff were lovely.

Room Tip: Not disabled friendly, rooms brill but facilities not.

The best thing about this hotel is the location and the day receptionist that's about it. We arrived at night and the guy on the desk couldn't care less, we were shocked to find that even tho we were all inclusive we had to pay for the safe ( never heard of that before on all inclusive) we were taken to our room which was on the 4th floor and right beside the lift. I immediately noticed a hole in the wall with a load of wires sticking out. The room was obviously not a double room but a triple that had been set out as a double as the bed sat in the middle of the bedside cabinets with a vast amount of room to get to them. There are no glasses in the bathroom as you are not allowed to take food or drink up to your room. And there's no bin in your room either. Breakfast in the morning is a continental breakfast if you can get any that is. The juice machines look like they haven't been cleaned for years and when you get some there's usually floaters in it, you get a better breakfast if you go out and pay for it. One mornin we had a boat trip so were up quite early and all that I could get that morning was a piece of bread thanks to some people having plates full of food on their table which they probably didn't even finish. The all inclusive bar shuts at 10:30 but for the size of the glasses you get that's not big issue. We decided to go to the beach one day and lasted 30 minutes. The beach is a mess with no beach boy and a load of rubbish lying round. Quite shocking considering we observed the beach boy cleaning the beach for the restaurant next door every morning but no one could be bothered for a hotel!! The room had wallpaper ripped off the walls and due to the location of the room you quite easily got woken up by other guests not caring there was anyone else in the hotel and making as much noise as is humanly possible. If there were any other Brits in the hotel we never came across them as its obvious Brits are not caterer for here. Room wasn't cleaned for 2 days until we complained. I would'nt stay here again.
