This train station In Chernivtsi was built during Austro-Hungarian times at the turn of the century and its’ architecture is reflected in this style. It is similar to the Chernivtsi Theatre which is located in the downtown section. Even though I did not go inside this year, the interior still retains its old design with high ceilings and beautiful stencils, ornaments and figurines on the walls. The outside precipice is ordained with three statues. When we left last year there was a band playing signalling our departure. It truly is one of Chernivtsi's gems.
