I had two wonderful days staying at this hotel. I was pleasantly impressed by the breakfast. It is in close vicinity to a bank, a supermarket and money exchange in case you need it. Also, the staff was friendly and the rooms were clean.

The hotel is quite modern and provides comfortable, clean rooms. The breakfasts are both tasty and filling. A most reasonably priced and centrally located hotel in a very safe and secure area. Hotel staff are most helpful.

Hotels in the Ukraine are usually functional and clean, the Bukovyna is a touch above this, it tries hard, usually, one or two gentlemen opening the doors for guests upon entrance, multilingual check-in was a bonus too.

The rooms are large, sparsely furnished but to a fair standard, the decor isn't too dated, but it isn't too exotic either, it does the job, nice blackout curtains help a lay in if one is needed.

The breakfast buffet is of a decent standard, plenty of organic/fresh cheeses, eggs, meats, decent coffee, and good wifi.

The bar was viable and reasonably priced.

Enjoyed the stay, it's about on par with a travelinn in the UK, it did the job, tried hard and didn't disappoint.

Room Tip: Ask for an upper floor room, or one at the end of the building if there's a wedding on

This hotel has a long history from the Soviet times so it has some touch of that period, especially then it comes to rooms. I have stayed in two rooms of this hotel. They are quite small and extremely time-worn with probably cheapest furniture I have ever seen in the hotels. The absence of support stand for suitcase in both rooms was a problem as I had to open suitcase on the floor (both table and stool were too small even for hand-luggage suitcase). All in all, rooms have all the traveler needs, but most amenities look like relic of the past with Soviet design touch (like a closet in the second room I had stayed). Bed was comfortable and linen/towels were nice, I had a good sleep there. Breakfast was something! Wide variety of local food, including several hot options, and good coffee from the coffee-machine are available there. Staff were very friendly and nice, and I got a big breakfast-box leaving too early before breakfast. So, despite of strange design of the rooms, I give 4 points to the hotel supporting the idea about renovation of the rooms
