Description: "This is where Summer begins." The Lobster Roll Restaurant, also known as "Lunch", is a nostalgic beach shack serving lunch and dinner to locals and guests from around the globe. Our critically acclaimed family restaurant serves beach-side favorites like lobster rolls, chowders, steamers, fresh seafood, chicken, burgers, sandwiches, steak and homemade pies. We also feature a full-bar, gluten-free menu, and an extensive children's menu. Our famous lobster salad is made with 100% pure cold water lobster meat, using the same recipe we created almost 50 years ago! Our lobster salad contains no imitation seafood products, no fillers, no preservatives, and no artificial flavorings. It's all about quality! We have indoor and outdoor seating amidst sand dunes, gardens of summer flowers, umbrellas, beach balls, picnic tables, and plenty of smiling faces! By popular demand, our entire menu is available for take-out. We can also cater to you!

I love this restaurant, the staff and food! Take your time to savor the freshest lobster roll in New York! Go for the food, stay for the drinks.

Who can resist not tasting a lobster roll when visiting Montauk. We tried Lunch first, and were not impressed. And we tried another restaurant at the harbour to see if that's just the local standard. Although Lunch offers generous amount of lobster meat in their roll, it did not come out as flavorful as the other one we tried. The fries were not warm when served, and the clam chowder was not creamy and a bit weak. Both bills came out to be the same amount, and it was clear that the other place delivered! Waitress was great and provided excellent service.

Stopped at the Lobster Roll on the way to Montauk. If you want the best lobster roll, then you must stop here. Order the hot lobster roll. Heated with liquid butter and roll. Clams strips to die for. Must stop.

Have had lunch here every Memorial Day Weekend for years. This year was a huge disappointment, they must be trying to cut corners and make a bigger profit. No flavor in my Fried Fish Sandwich, the tarter sauce so bland, the sandwich was like eating air, the French Fries obviously frozen way too long and no amount of deep fried oil can conceal a cheap frozen French Frie. So sad that such an institutions food quality is going down hill, but I bet the new crowds will still come because they won't know how it use to be.

My wife and I both had hot lobster rolls, they were good. Started with a muscle appetizer. They were served in a plastic container which made it nearly impossible to get to the sauce on the bottom. The muscles were a mixed of large muscles and basically other ones that had no fish at all. My wife had a bowl of new england clam chowder, the soup had no flavor at all. I ordered a side of roasted potatoes, they were good but very expensive for like 7 small potatoes. Then we ordered apple pie with vanilla ice cream. The pie was very good(6 bucks) but the ice cream was 3.50 for like half a scoop. Our waiter was a very nice young man. When i mentioned about the lack of ice cream he did go and get us more. My wife had an 11.00 glass of wine. All said the bill was 120.00 gave the waiter a 20.00 tip. We will never go back
