paid for the suv safari and was told next available slot at 4pm (we arrived at 2 pm) waited untill this time then waited 1/2 an hour longer in the heat without any communication from the staff as to why. decided to leave. went to their "customer happiness centre" and took a full refund. park was empty and the staff seemed used to people just leaving and seem to be unconcerned about this. dont waste your time, there's a zoo in Dubai.

I love this zoo. Really. I fed giraffe, sow a crazy monkeys. Falcon show. And many more. There few cafeteria you can eat there. You need a minimum 3 hours for this place.a lot of fun for adults and kids.

I have lived in Al Ain for 6 years and I have watched this zoo grow and change into something lovely and inspiring. They animals are mostly Asian but they do not have elephants. The environment here is very hot so its best to go in the morning or evenings if you want to seem them out playing. They do not force the animals to stay out so often times they will go find shade during the hot times of the day. They have many open area lookouts without fencing that makes you feel like you are sitting among the wildlife. They also have a new educational building which provides a good amount of information on the country's wildlife (past and present) as well as their sustainability efforts. It is defiantly worth a visit if you are in a group of teenagers or adults. They really only have one exhibit that would excite the younger ones. I often participate in a 10k race at this zoo and it is a joy running through the zoo while the wildlife cheers for our success! It gives me free zoo access so that's also a plus! Overall, it is just a lovely place to spend a relaxing day.
