There isn't anything much to see, its basically a palm date plantation. Not worth the visit if you are thinking to drive all the way from Abu Dhabi. Its near the Al Ain zoo, you can plan to visit both within the same day.

The oasis takes you away from the noise of the traffic and it is shady, but that's it. Just a path taking you to areas outside of oasis such as the palace museum and fort. Nothing to see. Signposts are misleading.

It a pleasant excursion to do in one day. I went with some friends from Dubai by car and it took us less than 2 hours to reach this lovely sanctuary. Although it seems to be unorganized its highly recommended to walk between these date trees and even try their fruits.
