It displays the evolution of Abu Dhabi in an era-by-era manner. Mostly about the evolution of houses and the arrangements inside the houses. A few artifacts such as swords, knives, guns are also displayed.
Loved the open tent (call it "Majlis" in Arabic) where we spent about 20 minutes sitting and chatting.
It takes more or less one hour to explore the entire place.
Really nice place to be visited. Real part of His Highness Sheikh Zayed Al Nahyian . Real stuff well maintained represented by people aware of the history of palace. Enjoyed every minute at this place.

I've been to the museum many times, with students and with visitors alike. It os brilliant the way the place still had authentic artifacts from that era. The guide was great and answered the questions clearly. A must see place to visit when exploring Al Ain.
Very nice ex home of the master here. It's free, and tales about 1 to 2 hours to complete the visit.
