We did this tour as a group of 7 adults and a 9month old baby and all of us had great fun and left feeling incredibly full!! Started with a trip to the local market where Long (the friendliest and joyful guide!) gave us an insight into the start of the cooking process, always happy to answer questions too. Then onto the river in the fun bamboo boats and an attempt to throw a net and catch fish- they make it look very easy! The cooking class is in a restaurant next to the river and they were so accommodating, finding a baby seat for our daughter and keeping her entertained when we were attempting to perfect our spring rolls and 2 other local dishes. Lunch is eating these creations plus at least 4 other dishes-totally stuffed with fresh and tasty food. Highly recommend (even my dad who does not do any cooking at home had a great time!)

We just got back from this tour. Everything about it was professional but with a very personal feel. We were picked up and headed to the local market to see where our food was coming from. Then we headed to the village and enjoyed bobbing down the river in our bamboo boat. It was great even with a little rain and just a fun experience! Then it was onto cooking which included spring rolls, pancakes and a salad all which tasted delcious! When we sat down to eat, we were given even more dishes to try - deep fried tiger prawns, clams (which were bought when we were at the market), more salad, crackers, rice and we got stuck in! We were stuffed by the end! It was wonderful! This family run tour was led by Long who was extremely friendly and made us all feel part of the family! We had a 9 month old baby with us too and the staff were amazing with her, entertaining her whilst we cooked and letting her play with their own child. It was great! Overall, this is a lovely relaxed experience where all of your senses come alive! I would highly recommend it.

Thank you Long and all of your family for a great morning!
