We spent 6 nights in the Pullman Beach Resort, expecting the comfort of a five star hotel.
Upon arrival we have been upgraded to a deluxe instead of the booked superior double room. (The rooms towards the pool (even numbers) and from floor 3-5 are definitely better as they offer a nice view to the pool and to the sea) The room was large enough to accommodate us with our two babies. The hotel did not charge for 2 baby cots, which was very kind. The baby cots though were rather basic ones and fit to children below 2 years. Consequently we decided to move our 3 years old baby to the sofa, which was no issue. there was some noise from the aisle coming inside the room.
The room was clean, although we had to ask for additional cleaning of the bathroom, which was immediately done after our notice to the hotel management.
The hotel is set up nicely and directly at the beach. The lobby bar offers a beautiful view of the site towards the pool and the beach - really nice and impressive.
The pool is large and offers a separate area (divided by a fence) for babies and toddler (water depth ranges from 0,3-0,6 m). This is especially good if you have small children. The remaining pool is still large to allow nice swimming. A second bar is close to the pool for those who want to enjoy some drinks - especially when the hotel offers their happy hour. Drinks are reasonable in terms of price (~USD 10) for a cocktail. Of course there are cheaper drinks available in Vietnam but your are still in a five star luxury hotel... However the prices of the food are too high for the quality offered and I was missing good authentic Vietnamese food on the menu. This is even more true for the kids menu - simply too expensive. Accordindly we were charged for the "evening" milk to our babies (USD 7 for 2 glasses of milk). After complaining this to the hotel management, they immediately reacted by offering free milk for the babies - well appreciated for this customer friendly good will.
The restaurant offer a nice variety during the breakfast menu and matches the level that you would expect from a 5 star hotel.
Beach is perfect at Pullmann and the hotel offers even several sport activities and free surf and boogy boards.
The hotel service was very good - if you have something that you think may be improved the hotel office takes it serious and acts immediately!

Room Tip: Deluxe room: Rooms with even numbers from floor 3-5 are definitely better as they offer a nice view to the pool and sea.

Really stylish hotel in a pristine beach location. Had a suite on the 6th floor which was large and well maintained. It was my birthday whilst there and they arranged a cake and drinks to be left in the room for after our trip to Hoi An- a nice surprise at the end of the day.

All the staff we encountered were friendly and efficient. Of the names I can't recall there was Tra at the beach restaurant, Diep and Hang at breakfast, Thum from guest services and Ms Vy. I shouldn't forget the ladies at the infinity bar who were all very good too.

Wonderful location, stylish modern hotel with gods facilities and team. I would highly recommend this resort.

The hotel was great and the staff were always willing to help - even working with the airlines to change our flights!

The pool was a great way to relax and the views were wonderful. It was also easy to get to many restaurants and other activities.

We booked this hotel for 4 nights during a 2 week tour. The hotel is easily reached from the airport although we booked our pickup through the hotel. This proved to be an excellent service.

Upon arrival we upgraded to a suite and found it was very worthwhile. Although I cannot imagine any of the rooms to not be of a great standard. The suite was worth the money, extremely large with an enormous balcony. The room was clean, extremely spacious and comfortable.

The location is superb. It is directly on the beach, which during our visit was empty. There are two restaurants both serving great food and two bars. One bar inside the hotel overlooking the pool and beach and the other on the beach. We only used the beach bar. The service in the restaurants and bar is exemplary. The staff are extremely polite, friendly and welcoming. We were very impressed with all the members of staff we met. However Tin at the beach bar was outstanding as was his manager (who he jokingly introduced as his mum). It was nice to see that she had a good rapport with her staff and you could tell she was respected by them.

We had initially wondered whether to stay in Hoi An. We are so pleased we did not. Da Nang is quieter and more laid back the hotel is 15 minutes away from Marble mountain and the Lady Buddha. The Lady Buddha can clearly be seen from the hotel, beach and pool area. A short 20 minute taxi ride takes you into Hoi An. Hoi An in contrast is busy and bustling with a lovely atmosphere. We felt it was lovely to visit but were glad we were staying in the quieter Da Nang where we could dip in and out of Hoi An as we pleased.

Room Tip: The suites are fantastic with more room than you could possibly utilise

Absolutely amazing Resort with great food, drinks, amenities, backing onto a beautiful beach but it's real strength is it's people. Nothing was too much for any of the staff who were so helpful and friendly and helped make our stay all the more special
