We visited for the morning and found the museum to be enjoyable, educational and good value for money! It is definitely worth a visit whilst in Livingstone.

Not only does this museum tell the life of the man who brought Victoria Falls to the world outside of Africa, it also tells the story of Zambia and surrounding countries from early days up to and beyond the discovery of the falls by ‘white man’.
It’s a fascinating journey throughout and won’t take all day. We did it in about 75mins.

Not the best museum visited but well worth a visit if you visit Livinstone. You get a much better insight of Zambia from Peter Jones on Tge Royl Livingstone Express Steam Train

I wasn't quite sure what to expect but my in-laws and my mom were adamant they wanted to see this museum and it was surprisingly interesting. The displays and exhibits are well put together and the information is fascinating. It's about the history of Zambia with a section dedicated to David Livingstone.
It's 5 dollars or 10 kawachas (sp?) to get in for adults. Set aside about an hour and a hald to to go through the museum at a slightly brisk place or two hours to take your time.
If you can manage a knowledgeable guide, bring them.
It's also ONLY in English so bring a translator if needed.
