It was Good sleeping. Clean and quite. All staff are kind and help me a lot. Hot stream is very nice. I spend about 2 hours there. They serve with Japanese breakfast. It was delicious. I will choose this hotel when I come Japan again.

My parents and I stayed for two nights. It is about 5-10 minutes walk from JR Matsumoto station and 15-20 minutes walk to Matsumoto castle.

I communicated with the staff in Japanese while check in but the staff can speak English very fluently. One thing I like Super Hotel most is they provide 5 free items for female ( such as beauty mask, body lotion and so on). Even you can choose which kind of pillow you like for sleep and yukata. Besides, the room for three people was not small.

They used local material to cook breakfast, it was good even though there was only a few dishes you can choose.

Only approx. 5 mins walk from the JR train station, this hotel looks very modern. The reception staff speaks fluent English and gave us a nice welcome. As we were early before check in time, they kept our suitcases while we explored the city.

The room is entered via a combination code on the door (key/cardless). The small double room itself although not big (as any 3-star business hotels in Japan), it was comfortable. The water pressure of the shower unit was very powerful. Yukata (Japanese dressing gown) is provided and there is also a pillow shelf at the lobby right by the elevators where different types of pillows can be brought up to the room.

There is a communal seating/dining area at the lobby and a natural hot springs public bath (times are alternated between male and female) as well.

Breakfast was included and had a large selection of traditional Japanese breakfast items i.e. rice, pickles, grilled fish, vegetables, etc. and also scrambled eggs and sausages with breads.

This hotel feels quite new and modern. Staff gave a very nice welcome and had clear English skills.

There are tables and chairs in the reception area which can be used to relax, read or surf the net from, instead of sitting in your room. This area is also the breakfast area in the morning.

Good reliable wifi at a decent speed.

Super hotel Matsumoto Tennenonsen is located near station and bus terminal. Very easy access the attractions in Matsumoto.
Room is small as other business hotels in Japan but clean and fully basic facilities.
As mentioned in the name, there is tennen onsen (natural hot spring bath) to make you relax.
Note: Free breakfast
