We started off as a family of four in one room with two beds and two mats on the tatami. But the kids snuck into the beds when I was down doing laundry and instead of spending another night on the floor we got a second room on the same floor. The room for 4 was small but clean and had everything you need in it.
The second room we ended up with was an executive room which was twice the size, had a better view and twin beds. If you are a couple travelling I would suggest you pay the extra money for the executive rooms. The bathrooms are more spacious, the bedroom has a lounge seating area facing the tv, there is a seperate vanity outside of the bathroom with a stool, and generally its just a much nicer room. Water was complimentary and in the fridge in both rooms. Coin laundries were located on several floors and cost about 600 yen for the wash dry 3.5kg function plus an extra hour with just the dryer (which was needed).

The hotel is a short 5 minute walk from Hakata Station and there are plenty of restaurants around, 7 elevens and other convenience stores. It is about 10 minutes to Hakata International Port by taxi if you are catching the ferry to South Korea.

One downside was the smell of smoke throughout the hotel floors. Even on non smoking floors it was very present. As I non smoker I thought that was a bit off putting. It was not noticeable in the rooms though, just in the common areas such as the hallways, lifts and lobby.

Room tip: Corner executive rooms on a high floor are excellent

I made a reservation through Japanese booking website Jalan but later had to cancel my stay. To my dismay, I found out that the only way to contact this hotel to cancel is via telephone, which is not very considerate for foreigner who has to call from overseas and try to overcome the language barrier on the phone.

It would have been made much easier if there is a way to contact this hotel via email which is the far more economical and straight forward method.

Room tip: only book if you are sure you can make the trip.

The room is very small - I had difficulty opening a 26 inches suitcase in the room. It's close to the train station. The hotel doesn't have a hot bath but there is a guide to a nearby onsen with shuttle bus schedule. After checking out, it's possible to store the luggage at Green Hotel 2. The price of the hotel is reasonable.

Pleasantly surprised to get a decent sized tripled room with space to move around. Bathroom also very good with extra washbasin in the room. As usual all was perfectly clean with crisp sheets and soft towels. Check in was okay but a but brusque by Japanese standards of politeness.

I stayed 2 nights here on my last leg of my Kyushu trip.
Hotel is conveniently located next to the Hakata station, excellent location
rooms are quite good, modern, well kept

Service counters can get busy during check in and out due to the high number of business solo travelers.
so this is a weakness.

A larger negative point is the wifi is not strong and not working well, only works with local Japanese phones. I used a local japanese data SIM card and wifi does not work well at all, even after calling the Japanese staff, my clients also cannot access the wifi well

this is bad point, considering that this is a CORPORATE hotel!

I had to use my local data card to access the internet!

Aside from that, this hotel is nice as it is modern and accessible.

Can consider again for next trip! but wifi needs to be improved!
