Wow, what a surprisingly fun place to visit! It's right across the road from Yonehara Beach where we did snorkelling, so we came across this place by chance. There is a shop with those Okinawan traditional Shisa figurines (cats/lions/whatever they are), which features prices noticeably below what you'll see in Naha souvenir shops, and with all the same diversity. Across the road there is another smaller store where you can buy some pottery, and a workshop where you can see how it all is made.
But the real attraction is a little Shisa park right behind the shop with a few hundreds of those figurines of varying sizes arranged in a picturesque manner around some ponds and hills. What a view! I guess it lacks some trees to provide shade and overall a bit hurried, but it doesn't make a visit to this place less fun! Great photo opportunities here, free entry, don't miss it!
