As with anywhere i have beennin Japan this hotel is the same in terms of service standards the ladies at reception were lovely and willing to help always and the breakfast was lovely also. The rooms were all you needed to sleep and holding the basic amenities, as it gets quite cold in Aomori they even privided night gowns to sleep in at the reception.

This is great hotel if you're coming to Aomori for the big festivals. This branch is well located for the Nebuta Matsuri. It's also close to the train station. They have parking as well, which was helpful for me.

Do understand what Toyoko Inn is. It's a business hotel. The rooms aren't that big. It's not a luxury place. It's not a 5 star hotel. It's a place that's clean and convenient. If you're looking for the Ritz, you best move on cause you won't be happy here.

So, this is why I choose Toyoko Inn when I travel.

-It's affordable.
-It has an English website to book with.
-It's very clean.
-Their hotels are located in good locations, near the train station or near the sites you want to see.
-Free breakfast in the morning.
-Free WiFi.
-Free PCs in the lobby.
-Free water in the lobby.
-Excellent extras, like free shuttle buses to the station.
-Amazing rewards for members, like free stays.

Room Tip: Better choose a non-smoking room for max nose comfort.

Stayed here one night. Located very near to train station; very ideal hotel for transit to/from Hokkaido.

Although small, room was clean and very functional for transit requirement. Free breakfast was basic, good coffee though.

Consider taking up their hotel chain membership, which could be done on the spot. Even for a one night stay, the one-time membership fee + discounted room rate was still cheaper than non-member rate, so it's a no-brainer!

This hotel is located within 5 minutes walk from JR Aomori Station, but away from the traffic noise. It is also a stone throw away from the very stunning Nebuta museum and the famous A-Factory which is selling apple products.

Room is clean and the breakfast is of typical Toyoko Inn standard, simple but adequate.

A value for money hotel if you are to transit to Hokkaido by train, or also use it as a base to discover Aomori.

The first thing that strikes you about Toyoko Inn Aomori is its relation to the Aomori station, it would be 150m door to door.
Being part of a large chain each hotel is the same as the last….yes it’s clean, yes it’s close to the station, the breakfast is quite good I think the two ladies in the kitchen have gone that extra mile …well done. there are some western things on the menue which are OK.
A nice place to stay….
