We are regular visitors to Japan and have discovered the Toyoko Inn chain everywhere to be the best way to visit any given city. Inexpensive, wonderfully situated next to train stations, friendly and helpful staff, clean, efficient, with great free breakfasts! This hotel is located a short three minute walk from Aomori Station and close to great restaurants, and visitors' points of interest. We are members of their Toyoko Inn club and receive discounts, plus additional discount for using their ECO plan where they don't have to clean your room, but provide daily fresh towels.

Room Tip: Always try to get to larger rooms, as the cost differential is so small.

Was happy to find out they have an onsen on the second floor included in price. Cheap price for the night with breakfast in February at 6300 yen. Parking beside is 500 for the night. Staff know enough English to make it work.

Near Aomori JR Station and convenient. Eateries nearby , such as Ootoya and Yoshinoya . Free hotel breakfast provided daily, simple dishes such as sushi rice and porridge , with free Japanese tea or coffee. Convenient for stopover tourists.

As with anywhere i have beennin Japan this hotel is the same in terms of service standards the ladies at reception were lovely and willing to help always and the breakfast was lovely also. The rooms were all you needed to sleep and holding the basic amenities, as it gets quite cold in Aomori they even privided night gowns to sleep in at the reception.

This is great hotel if you're coming to Aomori for the big festivals. This branch is well located for the Nebuta Matsuri. It's also close to the train station. They have parking as well, which was helpful for me.

Do understand what Toyoko Inn is. It's a business hotel. The rooms aren't that big. It's not a luxury place. It's not a 5 star hotel. It's a place that's clean and convenient. If you're looking for the Ritz, you best move on cause you won't be happy here.

So, this is why I choose Toyoko Inn when I travel.

-It's affordable.
-It has an English website to book with.
-It's very clean.
-Their hotels are located in good locations, near the train station or near the sites you want to see.
-Free breakfast in the morning.
-Free WiFi.
-Free PCs in the lobby.
-Free water in the lobby.
-Excellent extras, like free shuttle buses to the station.
-Amazing rewards for members, like free stays.

Room Tip: Better choose a non-smoking room for max nose comfort.
