Stayed here for 5 nights whilst at a conference in Sendai. Firstly, through our third-party booking service myself and a collague requested a twin but were given a double, however we feel the third party internet site is to blame for this (or something was lost in translation) rather than the hotel. English spoken by the staff is minimal, but enough to get checked in and check out, pay the bill etc. The room is small but smart, nice shower and reasonably sized (by Japan standards). Breakfast was excellent if very varied (local speciality, grilled cow tongue, and fish as well as standard fare), and it's a short walk to the station and the town centre. The onsen is very quiet and pleasant - my first time in one!
I'd recommend this hotel to visitors, but bear in mind it's probably not too distinct compared to many other business/functional hotels in SendaiMore
