We visited here the last day of Almaty visit. Place is nicely decorated, hall is dim but not dark, tables are comfortable. Staff was attentive and very well mannered. I ordered a beef ribeye while my lady ordered salmon steak. We also had an olive salad, veggies and potatoes/ mushrooms as side dishes, an ale for me and a lager for my lady. Salad was quite small, salmon steak was just enough for my lady but it would not be enough for me. My steak was thick and big (I would say at least 700 gr uncooked) and it was nicely cooked, was juicy and soft as I asked medium-rare. Side dishes were also tasty, my potato / mushroom cup had fried thin potato circles (like Lays but soft and dripping oil, not crispy) and mushroom pieces. It accompanied the steak very well. Unfortunately they put steaks on cold ceramic plates to serve and my steak was not hot even when it was first served and got quite cold while I was only at 1/3rd of it. Also the place is quite expensive, side dishes for steaks are billed additionally and even the half liter water that was on the table when we arrived were billed at 2.5USD. Because of these 2 issues, I cut a star.
