When I walked through a garage, I was expecting the worst. However, how pleasantly surprised I was being shown our rooms and the dining area.
It felt like being a guest in a big house as opposed to staying in a hotel. It is super super charming. Staff is also so friendly - French speaking though.
We were a group of 5 and had all 3 rooms on the second floor, they were all decorated with character and had a little terrace. All simple non-luxurious at all but quaint and lovely.
The only downs (not uncommon everywhere in Madagascar): no proper toiletry and the lighting was a bit on the dark side for me to be able to read.
Breakfast was the usual European continental: great coffee, croissant, bread, fruit juice, a tiny yogurt and fresh fruit (very limited: small slices of apple and banana). The dining area is great too.More
