Could be pricey for normal seafood selection. Used to be popular with assam style fish cooked on charcoal.

I pay my third visit to this restaurant recently, I always went when ever i come down to Kuantan. Good location and far from busy traffic. The owner, Mr Beh is very friendly. The seafood is very fresh. He always personally take our order and we normally will order 5-6 of seafood dishes with Singapore Chili crab, Lala chili garlic, squid kam heong sauce with a lot curry leaf and chili padi, butter prawn, sweet and sour whole fish, and fried choytam with garlic and accompanied with sliced chili padi aside. it really make my day. The food is awesome and always make us enjoy with our dinner meal in the aircond room more clean then having at the open air area. Hot Chinese tea with little bit of ice cube, wow. Reasonable price and it really cheaper then Seafood restaurant in KL. You should try and of-course I will come again will meet you, Mr Beh.

We ordered 3 rasa fish, buttered prawn, special squid, Thai bean curd and belacan kangkung. All was tasteless. They do not have any crabs. The restaurant is dirty and the owner is smoking while taking orders. Will not visit this restaurant again.

Very big restaurant serving halal seafood. Point what you want to order on the pictures pasted on the walls. Too many varieties to choose from espectially when we are a party of 2 only. We chose the shark skin, salted egg crab n petai sotong. Food only average. Shark skin was a let down. Only a few small pieces of shark skin but full of big onions and dried chilly. Salted egg crabs are small and dry and petai sotong also pretty dry. Not suitable to eat with white rice.
If come with a bigger crowd , will be able to order more varieties. So will enjoy better. A lot of big tables so cater for big families or friends. We went before 7pm on a week day, so its practically empty. Its airy but when there is heavy rain, we need to shift table further in otherwise we will get wet.

If you don't mind eating at a plastic table and sitting on a plastic chair then this is an awesome restaurant for local seafare from Kuantan (fishing village at the east coast of Malaysia.

True it is not the cheapest seafood restaurant in town, but it has some of the freshes dishes around as fish and other cretaeous are kept alive untill minutes before ending up on your plate.

The crab was amazing and super delicious, as was the steamed fish.
Must try dish is their deep fried tofu with vinegar.... Really delicious.

The restaurant looks a bit messy, but the food is really awesome.
