The seafood was excellent here. I have read about the "Boss Lady" before going to this restaurant, and I found that she is a very pleasant and nice lady. She has a friendly helper who would walk to our car and assisted my sister. I will be back again to this restaurant for good seafood! Cheers!

Our grand-daughter loves to come here for her birthday dinner each year when we visit. This year was no exception & the food was fabulous. The family run business was very attentive to our needs & made us feel right at home. We feasted on: Chilli crab, Steamed Red Snapper, Garlic Lalals, Spicy fried squid & steamed rice. Prices are ridiculously cheap for the amount of food presented, but worth every ringgit. Beer, Stout, soft drink & juices available in a relaxed cafe style environment. Certainly not a fine dining establishment but well worth a visit if you want to try some truly Malaysian style local food in a local setting. The owners happily organised taxis for the return trip to our hotel in Batu Ferringhi. A very pleasant meal & evening & our grad-daughter enjoyed her 10th birthday dinner!

Just brought some friends from overseas to have a culinary experience at a seafood restaurant called "End of the World" , aptly named because of its location at the end of the bus route along the north-eastern coastline of Penang Island off the west coast of Malaysia. You can take the air-conditioned Rapid bus 101 or 102 (cost us 2.70 Myr on our return trip, going there we took a Uber taxi, fare about 20 Myr) - journey is only about half hour. The restaurant only opens for dinner from 5 pm - 11 pm. We were the first customers there as it opened its doors for the day and were treated like kings by the waiter, Johnny. The food was some of the best I've had of seafood, even for Penangites who know where to go for the best local food. We had butter prawns, chilli crab with the deep-friend buns, deep-fried baby squids lightly covered with batter, bean sprouts, and fried noodles. The bill came up to less than 300Myr for 4 persons. Not bad. Great way to end the day of sightseeing.

The prawns were delicious especially my favourite salted egg prawns. They were well cooked and fresh. The bitter gourd and egg dish was also a winner with my family. We will definitely go back!
