Stayed for 3 nights, but wish i stayed longer! Staff, service, location, food, room, etc. all exceeded expectations. Penang is a really cool place to explore, and this was the perfect place to stay. It's full of character, and staying here really made my trip feel that much more special. Also, the outdoor bathroom was really cool. I hope to visit again someday!

Loved our 4 night stay at Coffee Atelier earlier this month. We visited with regulars from South Australia and were not disappointed. The hotel has wonderful character, is maintained spotlessly and has all the facilities one could look for in a boutique hotel.
The staff greeted us like long lost family and Ruby, Paul and Sol were absolutely amazing.
Loved the big breakfasts (included) and enjoyed dining at the attached cafe. Paul makes the best cappuccino in George Town. Neil and Martha Lloyd

Was ther for 2nights, facilities wise, reasonable, act like 5 stars, with coffe making etc , the suite is not bad but the attached room is not up to standard, everything is alright, except the toilet, although with proper facilities, and large but the heat is unbearable anytime of the day.and with a lot of mosquitos flying around, although room provided with mosquito net and repellent. Not worth the price , despite the good breakfast, very noisy place.

Stayed here for two nights recently with my husband & two year old daughter. When we arrived we had a disaster with a missing bag at the airport, the team were on hand to make the necessary calls to help retrieve it. Much appreciated!
More importantly the two bed first floor room we stayed in was BEAUTIFUL! Full of quirky & interesting antique furniture, both rooms were full of character. Lovely well equipped semi outdoor bathroom. Breakfast was simple but very enjoyable. Can't recommend Coffee Atelier enough & the location is great for exploring George Town. Book now! Great places to eat nearby too...

Stayed again with some friends from Australia, the visit never disappoints. We are always treated like old friends, Rubylyn,Paul and Mariesol looked after four of us like family. Paul has become such a wonderful cook,we had great breakfasts and dined in the evening twice.
It is such a pleasure to stay, the area is great with lots to explore close at hand, if you like a quaint coffee house with character and great service and spotlessly clean you will enjoy, thanks again ,Alan & Kathy Robertson
