This is to my knowledge one of the oldest restaurants in Beira and it has managed to keep a good standard on its food and service. I really liked their grilled "Lulas" with garlic butter. In spite of being old it manages to keep the style of a decent restaurant.

This is one small place that I really enjoyed a decent meal in Beira. The staff is very professional and pays attention to detail. The place is quite hidden but the service is fantastic. The prices are reasonable and you always feel at home.

Before coming to Beira, this was one of the places referred to me as a must. Thinking that we are in Beira, this was a very nice experience. I had prawns that were very good. Also the inside display is rustic and welcoming. I will return.

Pic-Nic is downtown but hidden away in a shabby street with little else to draw visitors. Inside is hardly flashy either. In fact, the dark brown wood and brown patterned walls (once, with their African art motifs, probably quite eye-catching) suggest nothing much has changed for decades. What saves the place, and tips the balance from dull to 'cozy' is the quality of both food and service. Pic-Nic's waiting staff are old school, and the head waiter controls front of house with great efficiency and quiet authority. The menu holds few surprises, but the cooking is very good indeed. We had a grilled fillet of Grouper and a whole grilled squid. Each was beautifully cooked and served with a garlic infused butter sauce. Prices for food and wine are comparable to other good restaurants in Beira.

Quaint little restaurant with a clean front of house and one u should not miss!
Efficient waitrons that serve you as if u actually matter (yes in Mozambique)
Toilet had no hand soap but thst was a small price to pay for an amazing meal.
Great food and prices are reasonable considering that you choose how much veggie and starch you eat.
Green peri peri sauce is fabulous!
LET ME REPEAT - Great service!!!
Aircons were broken but not that much of an issue.
