We had a great time at Cornerstone's An Der Mole apartment. However, I've learned that it has since been converted to a permanent living arrangement, so I don't think it's available any longer. Thus, I will comment on Cornerstone in general, though I have stayed at neither their main Guesthouse nor the other apartments. The apartment in which we stayed was well-managed, in a great location (as are their other apartments, though on the other side of town), and was spotless. I've dealt with the owners on other occasions, not just this, and they are easy to work with, they seem pleasant, and they are highly accommodating. If you would like to be on the beach, check out their Atlantik Sicht apartment.

Overall, Cornerstone is a great choice and comes highly recommended.

We were fortunate enough to spend one night towards the end of our Namibian trip at Cornerstone. It was such a lovely place, we wish we could have spent more time. Everything was immaculate, I liken it to a spa experience - so relaxing, the room was large and very comfortable. Peter gave us such a warm welcome and great recommendations for things to do. Delicious breakfast with lots of choices and a fond farewell, we will definitely go back to stay for longer next time.

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of our Namibian adventure. The guesthouse was immaculate. We had room no.7 which is huge with sitting room kitchen etc. The bed was very comfy and it was spotlessly clean. Peter the owner was charming. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful with great coffee. Peter gave us a phone to use if we got stuck and reassured us about walking around Swakopmund at night. The sunsets from the jetty were amazing and the G&T served from the Jetty restaurant, a marvellous accompaniment.
We had two meals out. One at the Tug, which was good. The fish delicious. The meal at The Wreck was sublime. We also went on two trips - the dolphin cruise fom Walvis Bay with Catamaran tours, led by Marco - a sheer genius of a guide and people person. We also went quad biking brought the dunes - a superb experience. Although Swakopmund is a rather unique place - if you get busy while you are there, you will have a fabulous time.
I would highly recommend his guesthouse for its location as well.

After three weeks camping atop of our 4x4 we pulled into the Cornerstone carpark in desperate need of a good shower and a bed. What we got, however, was so much more. The B&B was the perfect place to really relax.

The rooms were airy, bright, nice and big and warm, which is very important if travelling in July and August! The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was a great size and clean - the shower was pure bliss (and hot!). We also got some laundry done and it was on our beds, nicely ironed when we came back from our day out.

The breakfasts were super and the hosts were incredibly kind and took great care to show us where was best to go for a walk, for dinner and even to do some shopping.

Definitely recommend Cornerstone.

Cornerstone is a beautiful Guesthouse situated in the centre of Swakopmund and within easy reach of all attractions.

The rooms are lovely and furnished with style and classic simplicity. The bedlinen is made of percale and is soft and of high quality.

Tea and coffee facilities with well stocked refrigerator.

Breakfasts are ample with a multitude of choices.

The owner, Peter, helps at breakfast time and is at guests' disposal for whatever is needed. Robyn
assists and is kind and helpful.

This establishment deserves its five star rating.

Room Tip: All rooms are lovely. There is no airconditioning/heating noise as the rooms have fans and heaters.
