It is clean. And comfortable.
the staff is so helpful and careful. You can count on them for everything.

only 2 notes:
It will be great if they offer home made lunch/dinner.
And the wifi is limited to 50 MB.

We arrived in Swakopmund after a long drive from Sossusvlei. It was a beautiful drive but very isolated area in between the two areas. We stayed at the Morninga Gardens Apt. It was secure parking and nice modern 3 bedroom for my 2 adult daughters and myself. When the dishwasher had problems the 2 owners a married couple from came right over and fixed it. We enjoyed talking to them about their life in Africa. The apt is very clean, up to date and comfortable. We drove to Walvis Bay for the day, beautiful you can even get off the road and 4 wheel drive along the sand right on the beach!

Room Tip: If you stay at the Cornerstone Guesthouse rather than the Apts they rent you will have a B & B experience.

We stayed in the Atlantik Sicht apartment for one night but wish it could have been longer.

The apartment is large, modern and beautifully furnished in a New England style. There are three bedrooms including an impressive master suite.

The living room and master bedroom have sea views...literally just across the road. There's an oceanfront garden with sunloungers.

For people staying a while, the kitchen is fully kitted out. For those staying one night, the famous Tug restaurant is just a five minute walk away.

We had breakfast at the guesthouse the following morning and found it to be excellent: a great selection of fruit, cereals, meats and cheeses as well as cooked breakfast on request.

Our stay was short but sweet: we wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Atlantik Sicht apartment.

Room Tip: We loved the Atlantik Sicht self-catering apartment.

It's not often you can use the word 'perfect' but this place certainly qualifies.

The very friendly owners have clearly got a very strong idea of what a perfect B & B should be like and have the energy & attention to detail to carry it out.

Our spacious room had a seating area with comfortable chairs and a TV, a bedroom with an ulta comfortable bed and crisp sheets and plenty of storage plus an immaculate en suite bathroom.

Our particular room also had a fully fitted kitchen with cooker, fridge, freezer and seating area but think this is the only one.

Best of all is breakfast, which has every sort of cereal, bread, meat, cheese and preserve in the world all laid out pefectly plus the best bacon and eggs in the universe on order.

Lastly it has an immaculate garden with flowers adn places to sit.

Any down sides, I struggle but they do not do an evening meal but there again 'The Tug' with its fantastic sea food is only a short walk away on the sea front.

Try it. You won't be disappointed. Just wish it was in the UK.

In Namibia and its deserts of sand and dust, every lodge is a welcome sight for every pioneer.
In the concrete and brick desert of Swakupmund, the Cornerstone Guesthouse is a real oasis of peace and harmony for every guest.
Margo and Peter, you’ve created the most beautiful place here! Not only for the eye, but also for the heart and soul!
