After a friend's recomendation in Cusco we got to Pacha confort in a cold and rainy Puno morning 5:00am, the door was opened by a sleepy but a very nice attentive man. After 05 minutes negotiation we ended up in a really nice and spacious ensuite matrimonial room with a big proper window, a decent gas powered shower, clean towels, maybe not important, but a regular TV screem is available in the rooms. Basic decent breakfast is served every day in the Hostel. We haven't taken their tour services; But we saw they sell Titicaca lake, and others around the area. Definitely we would get back next time. In over all a very convenient place.

Clean, affordable and well located, the hotel was very accommodating when we unexpectedly had to stay an extra night. They were very patient with our basic Spanish and were able to give us vital information when we need to rebook a local bus. The accommodation was basic but comfortable and warm (especially good for the chilly nights!). The stay also included a basic breakfast which is great if you are suffering with the altitude. They allowed us to pay the day before for a very early check out and even got up at 5am to open the gate. Overall a good stay especially at a stressful time for us.

We stayed at pacha suite before our trip over lake Titicaca. Central location just a few blocks from main square. The place is clean, offers a simple breakfast. Rooms are huge and have nice hot shower.

We arrived very early morning and although we couldn’t check into a room that early we filled in all details and left our bags.
When we returned from our trip the staff were clueless and were saying to others (again who had both booked and signed in that morning) that the hotel was full.
We ended up with a dingy triple room off reception which was not what we booked. Sheets were clean but bathroom not great and the shower was cold. Lucky we only had one night here-I would recommend staying somewhere else!

We booked a matrimonial suite and asked for private bathroom. Upon arrival we were taken to this room that was dark, dirty, and cold with a private bathroom. My partner had a shower and the water was at best warm. The room was so cold we were sitting with our coat, hats and gloves on. The T.V plug did not fit the socket on the wall! I asked reception for a heater, for an extra 10 sols they gave me one that again did not fit socket in room, the 2nd heater also did not fit the socket. Man at reception then offered us another room. He also tried several heaters in the second room before he found one that worked (even though the control dial went round and round) only full in or nothing. The second room while better than the first, which was not difficult, still had peeling paint and dirt in corners of room. Again the shower was warm at best. The whole place was freezing, staff and paying customers wore ski jackets. Breakfast was ok. I would never stay at Pacha Suite again, whilst begrudgingly offering us a second room, after a long day of travelling the last thing you want is having to spend time and energy trying to negotiate with staff for over an hour to get a room where you don't have to go to bed to get warm. Staff were surly and rude.
